Note, I’m not a Calvinist. I was one at one time when I was a Presbyterian, but gave it up for Lent.

Now I’m a Primitive Baptist… so much more content in my walk with God. :Wink

He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit , Amp Bible

    "παλινγενεσίας", is "born-again"

    regeneration G3824

    G3824
    παλιγγενεσία
paliggenesía; gen. paliggenesías, fem. noun from pálin (G3825), again, and génesis (G1078), generation, nation. Regeneration, restoration, renovation, rebirth.
Occurs in Mat_19:28, which refers to the coming state of the whole creation, equivalent to the restoration of all things of Act_3:21 which will occur when the Son of Man shall come in His glory. In this sense, it is equivalent to apokatástasis (G605), restitution.

The washing of regeneration (paliggenesía, Tit_3:5) refers to the spiritual rebirth of the individual soul.

So do you not think that someone being spiritually reborn means that they are saved?

What I mean by Particular Redemption is that Jesus Christ died for everyone in particular

    Are you the same
