The Past and Future of Mainline Denomination

I watched the video. I think the guy hit the nail on the head when he brought up Modernism. Science and the pseudo-sciences have trumped Faith. Making Faith relative and always changing, non-denominational churches have become popular. I believe they are strongly influenced by Freemasonry, which is a form of communism and promoter of one-world government. I’m not suggesting that these churches are aware of that but that’s the new thinking behind it. We are in the age of compromise. I remember the first time I saw a non-denominational church in Jacksonville Florida where I lived. It was called New Covenant Ministries. It had all the flags of the world in front of it. This was in the 1970’s. To me, these flags made it look like a world religion that will eventually merge non-Christian religions in with it in the near future. That’s what I thought at the time. In a couple of months I will explain, in a new thread, what I see happening in the Catholic Church. Modernism has affected the Catholic Church as well.

 

I believe that the percentage of population who are true Christians in the U.S. has been roughly the same for the past 100 years. The difference is that the local church is no longer the accepted and popular social center it used to be. The unsaved have found new country clubs and new centers of entertainment.
As my Granny used to say "Kids and no worse now than they used to be. They always got into everything. There is just a lot more everything nowadays."
