If you, as a leader. were to estimate the number one practice that you would counsel every believer to do, what would it be? I know what mine would be, but I don't want to poison the well.

Stanley says it's PRAYER in the MORNING and Time with God, Trusting Him.

Prayer and Bible Study. I can't rank one above the other.

Can't give only 1. Pray, study, forgive, witness, church, all important as well as others.

    Focus/study/meditate in the Word.

That will lead to a life of prayer, witnessing, growth, Christlikeness, community, et al

The new believer's very first obedience of believer's immersion signifying our burial with Christ in His death for our sins and that we are to live for God and no longer for this world, Romans 6:1-4, "
. . . we also should walk in newness of life. . . ." So as an on going practice, 2 Peter 1:5-7, ". . . giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. . . ."
