Was MLK Jr. a Christian? -- Part 2

Uh....yes we do. A Christian martyr is a Christian who dies for the gospel of Christ.

If I am assisinated for advocating equality between races then I am a Christian who died for my beliefs and for a good cause.....but I am not a Christian martyr in any biblical sence of "martyr".

I'd say the same of those earlier Christians who attacked Roman soldiers in order to die a "martyr". They did not die for their faith, but instead committed "suicide by cop".

This is especially true as MLK never indicated that he had divorced the teachings of Crozer from Christianity (instead he attributed Crozer as the crux of developing his theology.....again, in his autobiography).
Same ol, same ol. No evidence from his sermons or letters to support the charge, just repeating the unsubstantiated claim his views presented to get a grade reflected is lifelong views. Leftist propaganda.

Oh No!!! I’ve been accused by Van of posting “disinformation” certainly I’m in fear of being cancelled. What shall I do??? Where can I run ??! Where can I hide???

Ok folks, just be clear. Van is saying anyone who questions his assertions… debates his statements…. Shows why his statements are wrong are guilty IN HIS MIND of having malice toward truth.

There is truly no reasoning with such a mindset.

peace to you

More disinformation on display (see bolded fictional disinformation) and no quote. Pay no attention to those with "malice toward truth."

So Van - would you have had MLK come preach a revival at your church?
If so, how much would you guarantee to pay him?

Why change the subject? You do not know if MLK Jr was a born anew believer. Why post that he was not? Malice or Leftist propaganda?

Folks, note how the Left has brain-washed several posters with malice toward freedom and hate for those trying to serve God.

Those professing Christians who advocated slavery and segregation betrayed Christ, giving lip service to our love of our siblings in Christ, and doing unto others as we would want them to do unto us.

So attacking MLK Jr rather than considering the role of many "churches" of the south in providing cover for racist views is hidden.

NOT changing the subject - The subject : Is MLK a Christian - if so then (as a preacher) than it appears that you would want him to preach a revival at your church.

Why change the subject to my behavior, that is not the topic and you know it! But you do not know if MLK Jr was a born anew Christ, yet seem to support those claiming he was not because he wrote in support of false doctrine in college. Nonsense.

I don't understand why you believe MLK's autobiography leftist propaganda.

Today the left, not the right, support MLK's political ideologies.

You would, by any common definition, be a leftist on this issue.

Anyway, it is up to you to prove that MLK's writings - to include his Autobiography I referenced - does not really reflect his views.

It is up to you to prove MLK died a Christian martyr by dying for the Christian faith and not social justice/ racial equality.

You have ignored post-Crozer quotes, pretended MLK misrepresented his true beliefs in order to get a good grade, conveniently overlooked MLK's own words about Crozer and refining his fairh.

You, if anyone, are spreading leftist propaganda. The left uplifts MLK not only for his work in civil rights but also for his socialistic leanings.

On the other hand, the Right does often downplay MLK's achievements (which is wrong).

Absolutely astonishing!!!! I say what Van is saying is that anyone who disagrees with him is pushing disinformation and has malice toward the truth.

Van responds by saying what I said isn’t true and adds it’s more disinformation and malice toward the truth.

Without a hint of self awareness you deny making the statement in the same breath you repeat the statement.

WOW!!!!

peace to you
