I grew up with two amazing parents and two sisters that are now two of my best friends. I grew up going to a Lutheran church. I met my Wonderful husband when I was 16 years old. Unfortunately we were not living our lives for god at the time. So while I have been with my husband since I was 16 we did not get married until I was 35. About a year after we were married he started to get depressed due to business related things. I suggested we read the Bible, so we did. Together! My husband was brought up in a Baptist church and was homeschooled by his mom until he was 12. After we read the Bible I got very scared! I wondered why no one had taught me about all the things I had read. I only learned about a loving god that forgives all. I wasn’t taught about the things that are in the Bible that are unforgivable, and I wasn’t taught about a god that gets angry! We now go to the baptist church that my husband grew up going to. I have continued to study and try to grow as a Christian. But I have to admit, I was more sure of my salvation before I read the Bible on my own?! I look forward to what I might be able to learn on this site! Please pray for me to understand what god has to teach me... I need all the help I can get! God bless!
