So let's say, James, that you have a 9 year old daughter who is kidnapped. You call the police and they say, "Give us her chip number and we will know where she is in five minutes." You say, "She doesn't have a chip." They say, "Sorry then; we might never find her."

    How would you respond?

oh no, boohoo, I should have traded my freedom for my hypothetical kidnapped daughter. Why didn't I listen to them!?! Curse my principles and convictions!

But seriously, RFID doesn't work like that.

    Chips

    www.trumpetmin.org

Website of Carl Sanders an enginneer who helped to develope an implantable stacked microchip, now an evangelist,he beleives that the mark will be either the chip he helped to develope or something very similar.
The 144,000 in revelation are 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes of Israel who will be sent to wittness for Christ during the Great Tribulation, and as a result many will come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
This is not to say that the time might not come when prior to the Great Tribulation true christians may not have to take a stand, and refuse the mark before the Rapture of the church..maybe even give their life,to find it.
others may try to save their life and lose it.

Are we more afraid of someone who can take our life?or the one who can condemn our soul to hell for eternity?

So lets say Pastor Larry, have you taken a chip as of yet?if they came to your house today and said heres your chip hold out your hand, would you take it ?
Do you want it in your right hand or your forehead?

I would have to say not now,or ever so don't bother coming back. because my mind is made up my course is set, and I know in whom I am beleving and his name is Jesus.
He gave us his word so that we would not be taken as a theif would over take us but that we may know.......what is coming before it arrives...

Here's something I don't understand. The "mark of the beast" is something that comes about after the Rapture, right? Then, why does anybody who buys into the pre-trib position spend even one second being concerned about identifying what the mark of the beast is, whether it's mandatory, etc? Or, is the debate more of an academic discussion?

First, what freedom would you have traded? (So far as I konw, we have not exactly established what freedom is at stake here).

Second, would is your daughter's protection worth to you?

I am not sure all the ins and outs, but that is one of the possibilities as I understand it.

But nonetheless, it was a simple straightforward question I was curious about.

I had a potato chip last night. I am currently looking for an SD chip. Other than that, I haven't taken one.

Depend on what kind of chip it was and what it was for.

    Not sure.

Again, not to be pedanticly obvious, but I am not sure this has anything to do with Jesus. Is this chip some declaration of worship or allegiance to something other than Jesus? Or is this just another Chicken LIttle phase the BB is going through?

For me it was a "watch dog" thing and just another point to say wow, the Bible is 100% right and 2000 years ahead as usual.

In regards to if one would want in in the hand or in the head...

I think the hand would be better, for if it is something that is scanned, when you go to the store you don't want to have to rub your head against or near something that some other guy just did if he has the flu or something contagious. At least if it is your hand you could use a wipe or something...

I believe there is quite a bit of evidence to support a partial rapture.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

We ought to be letting. It would be unconscionable to just sit back and allow the anti-christ system to be set up before our eyes and not raise an alarm just because we assume that we won't have to be here to deal with it. We need to be waking folks up to the truth of the scriptures and the coming tribulation.

How about my freedom to take my family where I want without the government being able to track me? You might say that I intend to kidnap my children in case of emergency.

13.And one of the Elders answered, saying unto me,What are these which are arrayed in white robes?and whence came they?
14.And I said unto him,Sir,thou knowest. And he said to me ,These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

This is really coming Bro.Williams ,and to joke about ,what could be the mark described in God's word is a dangerous thing to do .
We are to be warning people of the unavoidable Judgement coming to this earth, not fighting among ourselves,we can diagree on interpretation, but leading people to Gods salvation and warning is our job,why else would God have given the Revelation to John?
    To be laughed at?or ridiculed?
    Rev: 1:3 says
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy ,
and keep those things which are written therein; for the time is at hand

Do you think the time is at hand Bro, Williams?

Brother, I know the time is at hand. I also know some won't head to the warning, so I am helping those out. Tribulation will be "hell on earth" enough as it is without the flu.

I can definitely see the benefits for lost and runaway children, alzheimer's patients, etc. Yet I also have concerns regarding privacy. For me, the jury is still out on this one.
