bapmom I do go to a christian school called: Frontier School of the Bible. I was an abuser of alcohol for many years and I remember what a beer bottle looks like. It was a mikes lemonade if I remember correctly. I'm not sure if it's against the rules to have the bottle but I do know that every student had to sign a paper saying that they wouldn't drink while in school and they won't allow any shirts that advertise alcohol.

What I am sure of is it just doesn't seem right to me.
I will be the last one to get indignant about anyone drinking but my heart says the bottles in the room are wrong. [IMG]

Samplewow, if your heart says it's wrong, then that's the Holy Spirit telling you it is. Follow your heart. [IMG]

FTR, Helen, I'll second the motion on diabetes. I got Type II, diagnosed about 5 years ago. I know an awfully lot more about it than I ever really cared to know.
For someone who questioned I Thess. 5:22, the copy of the Bible I have in front of me renders it as "Abstain from every appearance of evil." Same as the quote, except in the singular.
Samplewow, I would agree with someone who said buy the piggy bank and give it to him. That made as much sense as anything in this thread. If you can't afford it, send me an e-mail and I'll spring for one. I know where 'Frontier' is. I wouldn't make a special trip to the big city to get the bank, however. (Let's see, that'll be $7.99 for the bank, and $82 bucks to fill up the truck! Heh! Heh!) Say "Hi!" to Dr. S___. for me.
    He'll recognize the name.
    In His grace,
    Ed

Sample....you are a good example to most on this board who should know better. The Bible tells that when we get saved we change. Either some here can't read or are rebellious or not saved. If you are on here long enough you will figure it out.

I do understand what your saying BUT I do think that one needs to be very careful about questianing anothers salvation. I'm sure you will agree if you think about it.

Glad to help. I'll be praying for the situation, that the Lord will stir your heart to action to either share your convictions, or pray for this brother.
