Great article about preachers and what they do when the err........I don't know how my fellow brothers in ministry work their ego, but, I learned a long, long time ago, it is far much easier to "eat spiritual crow" than argue till my lips turn blue.

I don't have an ego about right and wrong. Many times my congregation would approach me on something I did wrong, and I showed them that I was not PERFECT, but, FORGIVEN like them, and prone to fumbling, falling, and making mistakes :BangHead: .

    I hope this helps,

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

What kind of a bad precedent are you setting, Saying that a pastor should admit that he is wrong. Don't you know that pastors are above and beyond reproach? Of course, this is a particular manner of speaking. :praying:

I'm not a pastor, so I never have to apologize for anything.

    Sorry, but I couldn't resist.

Wait, I just apologized... infinite recursion alert.

You got that right, errors are for laymen... Clergy make a mistake, that's like rain pouring up... Or does it go down???

I told our congregation, "You may think I'm wrong, but when you get to heaven you'll find out I was right!"

BTW Bro's Bob & John I recommend my book, "The Top Ten Greatest Soluwinners in the World...and How I Won The Other Nine."

I am reminded of the old story about the fellow who was awarded a medal for his wonderful humility, but when he wore the medal they took it away from him!
