    Which national chain offers your favorite burger? Mine is Hardee's. Their new thick burgers are AWESOME!!!

    Rally's. The closest Rally's to us is an hour away and whenever we're there, we go out of our way to get a Rally's burger.

    There are no more Hardee's in my area. :(

    I like just about every fast food restaurant.

    I selected Hardees from the list.

    Another really good burger place is Backyard Burgers

    From the list I chose Wendy's, but Huddle House has the best burgers.

    If your eating at Hardees don't use the ketchup out of the pump thing. We have a lawyer friend who sued hardees for some clients becasue they ate the pump ketchup and it turned out to have maggots in it, the corporation tried to say they were tomato peels. We have never eaten there becasue of it.

    The Dairy Queen is my hangout, but I don't go there for their hamburgers, but to put away a few cups of coffee and read, write, visit, et al. Their coffee is definitely not that good, either, but that's the price to pay for hanging around there.

    I selected Wendy's in the poll, but it's probably been 2 years or longer since I've actually bought one of their hamburgers; the few times I've been there, they've had that chicken sandwich for 99 cents. But the best hamburger I know if a Mushroom Swiss Burger from Chili's, which is outside your fast-food scope.

    This is a very cruel poll since we just started First Place back last night! I picked Wendy's because i can never find a Hardees...although i do think i prefer the latter.

    Hardees monster burger is #1. Second for me is the DQ ultimate burger.

    I voted for Burger King, but only because of the ONE burger that I would vote as the best fast food burger on the planet...

    A Double beef Whopper with cheese

    Cant beat it!

    After that, however...I agree with the post about the Hardees Thickburgers. Those are fantastic.

    Also...a Double Steakburger with everything on it (from Steak and Shake of course) it is out of this world.

    And I have to mention the old standby when its about 3AM and you have the munchies...

    A bag of 12 White Castles with cheese. Cant beat those sliders!

    I like Hardees the best on your list. Hey any restaurant can get maggots, I always check the health score but you have to look around also. I have walked out of several restaurants because I saw something unsanitary.

    I agree with PastorSBC, Backyard Burger is better than anything on your list.

    The best fast food burger is In & Out Burger, but they are found mainly on the west coast. You see them slicing the onions and tomatoes right in front of you -- very fresh. You also see them slicing the potatoes for the fries too.

    Oh, that's un-American! And un-Baptist! Well, it's just wrong (IMO, of course).

    My favorite is from Kay's Freeze King in Camden Arkansas (if it's still there). But I do like Sonic's Chili Cheeseburger (although it's been known to come back and haunt me from time to time).

    Dairy Queen is completely different in Texas than anywhere else. The Texas Dairy Queens make great burgers... the Hungerbusters and Beltbusters are well worth it.
