    Good Morning Folks!
Me & BH are up early...or late...depending on how ya look at it. Have to take Agee to work in a little while so no need in tryin to lay down now. Just grab me a Dr. Pepper, and get BH a piece of pie & we're set to go.
Just to fill yuns in, I've been computerless for quite awhile. And been working on projects online when I can, trying to learn how to set up websites and such. Just been a really hectic and sometimes not too good past year or so.

I was gonna upload a pic of BH...but can't get it to work for some reason...downsized it and all. Oh well. She's become somewhat of a celeberty on a couple of places. Still as mean as ever!!
Well gotta run...Have a Blessed Day All!!

    Good Morning !!!
"In the blink of an eye... our Saviour will return."

We're halfway through July and halfway to August which means Fall is right around the corner! O' I love Fall so much! The air is crisp and fresh and smells so sweet. This morning is a cool one... even got cold this morning in the house. I turned off the air conditioner and the fans. This wonderful cuppa bayou blend warmed me up, though.

Preacher, you're up now -- stay up! Why not my bayou blend over that awful can of Dr. Pepper? I think you'll find my coffee more satisfying than that mess! I'll be making blueberry muffins this mornin' with a tall glass of orange juice. Hope you all have a great day!

    Shane be cruising~

Awww!! I want to see new pics of BH! **STOMP, STOMP**

Well, today is cleaning day and maybe a trip to the pool. My goal is to finish cleaning and organizing the laundry room and get to the living room if possible.

PLEASE pray that the weather men are wrong and it WON'T be a heat wave and 94 degrees with high humidity on Saturday! We're having 50 people over then for Lauren's graduation and I DON'T have that much room in my house! YIKES!! ~shudder~

Well, off to hang out sheets then hit that laundry room!

    Hey all,
Looks like things here are busy as usual. I have been without a computer for awhile and it feels good to have one. I have been so busy with work and helping my dad I haven't had much time for anything else. Speaking of which, he is home from the docs so I need to go see what is up. I am grabbing a Mt. Dew for the road.

    Good Afternoon Everybody,

HOLY COW, DERE ANDY!!! This place is full today.

Welcome back preacher, Bill, and Palagis Island Girl!!! :1_grouphug:

Thanks for the prayers Ann. It's heck to get old, but it still beats the alternative.

We kept Caydon overnight, and he is now on his way home to mommy and daddy [Caydon is our 2-month old new grandson.] Brenda and I are too old for this stuff, that's for sure.

Guess I better make lunch instead of brunch with this crowd here today.
Spicy Sweet Ribs and Beans, Pecan-Crusted Chicken, Southern-Style Cobb Salad, Cilantro Potato Salad, with Chocolate-Grasshopper Cheesecake, Peach Pie, and Southern Banana Pudding. Enjoy.

Not much going on here today, have to go into town to stop at the pharmacy, then go grocery shopping. It seems that Walmart is counting on my check as stimulus to their economy.

    Good morning all!

    Welcome back Oldies but Goodies!

This place is starting to hop like it used to!

I am on the run today. I have to take Brent to get his eyes examined and a new set of frames. He will be going back to MO this afternoon. I wanted to get them for him while we still had guardianship.

We are terminating that, as soon as we can get a court date, because his mother remarried and she is able to take care of him now. He has been down there since school got out and he loves having a step-dad, and step-brothers and step-sister.

I am going to get back to being 'just Grandma'. It's more fun!!! :godisgood:

    Got to run!

    Good morning all,

I am up early because today is the day the DH gets all of his teeth pulled at the oral surgeon's about 40 miles away.

I will be driving him as they are going to put him to sleep and he won't be able to drive home.

Please pray that everything goes all right. He has had so much illness lately and he's still not back to work from his Empyema Pneumonia (that kept him in the hospital for two weeks). Maybe in August...

    Have a good day!

Oh man, Sue! First you and now DH?? ((HUGS)) I pray it all goes well.

Today I'm going to treat myself to a mani and pedi. I'm just about to leave. I've been so busy getting ready for this graduation party, and the house is in pretty good shape - that it's time for me to do something for ME. Not that the last 2 days of shopping did anything for me. ;) I got a new bathing suit (a cute one from Land's End with a shorts bottom and a tank style top - it covers all my stretch marks well and actually just looks like a summer outfit! It will be nice to wear on the boat so I don't perpetuate my farmer's tan. LOL They also had school supplies on sale at various stores so I stocked up. Hopefully 40 1 subject notebooks will get us through the year. LOL Those 40 spiral bound notebooks cost me all of $2! Woo-hoo!

So off I go! I'll catch ya'll later with freshly painted toes and fingers! :D

    Good Morning Everyone!

Welcome back Preacher, Island Girl and Mark B.! Long time, no see.

About that rockin' chair Preacher. I did some some spring cleaning a while back and I think you'll find it out on the front porch on the railing. I tend to remove things that have been left sitting to long. Tell BH that there is still bag of pecans off my tree in the back of the freezer.

Cuz, you best take care of yourself. Spoilin' babies ain't good for that shoulder.

I'm still buzy with everything that has piled up since ol' arthur came to visit. The meds the doc gave me have just about gotten him beat back into submission, so I actually feel like doing!

Today, I'll get to a purse I'm makin' for a b'day, sleeping pants for Chris, plums that need cooking down into juice (I'll freeze the juice and make the jelly when it gets cooler) and general housecleaning duties. I already have one extra youngun' in the house and the second is due to arrive any minute. Later today there may be a coupla more. :D

    Life goes on!

    Good Morning Everybody,

WOW!! I even beat Shane in here this morning. How often does that happen? Did anybody notice there is a squirrel sitting in the rocker on the front porch, eating pecans like he's never going to see them again? Must be the Security Squirrel, he just nodded at me when I walked by.

Hey Cuz, glad to see you have 'ol Arthur on the run in full retreat. Now about spoiling babies, I've never done that in my life [I just give them the attention and TLC that they're supposed to get, right?] I told Brenda just the other day that although my shoulder kills me at times [like days that end in "y"] what am I supposed to do when little Sean looks at me and says a plaintive "PAPA!" then puts his little arms out to be picked up? How do you tell a 2-year old "sorry kid, can't pick you up anymore-got a sore shoulder?" I just pick him up using my L shoulder the most. I'd rather have an achy shoulder than a grandchild who thinks I don't love 'em.

In early this morning because I've got some early errands to run. My Grandson Jack has to go in for speech therapy this morning, have to get two new tires for the car, some more grocery shopping, and Jack knows that if he's out with Papa we usually stop and get something to eat [Jack picks the place too.]

I brought in Pancakes, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits, Sausage Gravy, and fresh squeezed OJ. Have at it!

The Security Squirrel is havin' his breakfast in the rockin' chair. Sure hope he doesn't have to get into a foot pursuit, those pecans are ridin' a mite low in the middle.

    Jack's a smart boy!

Well my morning got off to a busy start, but now my day's slowing down again. Cass is off with Dale (boy's gonna be in the doghouse he don't change his ways soon. Been off work all this week and today is the first we've seen of him.). Chris spent the night at Cade's and I went and picked 'em up this morning. Cade'll have football practice at 2. Jenna had spend the night company last night, but now she's headed to her friend's. They'll be back pretty soon though cause the cousin are coming up.

Cass made fresh cinnamon rolls (by hand from scratch no less!). I put the leftovers on the counter. Ya'll better hurry cause BH is eyeing the pecans she put on top.

I'm going to root around in my kitchen and find me some lunch. Then I gotta head over to the Walmart and get some milk and dogfood!

    Afternoon....
Actually....BH retired from security detail....but it must have been her cause I had a time findin' her this mornin. Guess thats why she wasn't hungry when I fed her.
I've been layin under a Ford truck most of the day tryin to figure out whats wrong with the starter/flywheel...which ever one is the problem. Had to come in, take Agee to work, & cool off.
BH is mad cause I won't let her on the computer....yes she's very adept at speakin her mind now!! I might let her on later to give yuns a taste of what squirrel typin looks like!! A big hit on the squirrel board. Hard for some to decipher tho'! But she's managed to make friends all across this country, plus Canada, England, even Scotland!!She has boyfriends everywhere....I say OK long as they stay long distant!!
I don't care for my "new" computer, may give it to Agee & take my antique back. It still has 2000 on it & I'm not liking XP at all. My old computer has about 1/3 the power...but is twice as fast. Go figure.
Well...guess it's time to crawl back under the truck....sees yun later!
    Have a Blessed Day!

Hey preacher, BH...the very FEMININE BH I might add, who looks so sleek, so beautiful, so ladylike!

I get to leave here in a few minutes and go interview the main actor, actress, and the producers of a new movie coming out, a pro-life one, called "Come What May." I'm pretty glad to be doing it! It will be on DVD soon, you can check it out online and watch the trailer at this link: http://www.comewhatmaymovie.com/

I'm feeling very blessed today to be able to do this! It's neat to be able to help promote something like this. (not to mention get paid for it!)

I pray I have enough food.

I pray I have enough AC.

I pray I have enough water.

I pray I have enough sanity.

Oh God, please help me through this! Now I'm in panic mode!!!!!!!

    Just a quick check in.

I made it through my Cardiac Stress Test with flying colors. Whatever the doc saw in the EKG didn't show up in the stress test. Thanks for the prayers.

What is that plaintive wail coming from the direction of Long Island, NY??
    It sounds like HEEEELLLPPPP MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Now it's time to rest and relax, and I need it after today.

    Sweet Louisiana Morning !!!

Good morning, y'all! I hit the ground runnin' this morning -- and so did Kacie! It was 'round three o'clock that I made the coffee, but my phone rang a few minutes hitting four o'clock and Kacie said she was on her way! She has been sewing all mornin'. That wasn't the first thing she did, tho'. She grabbed a cuppa da bayou blend, of course. She's workin' busy across the room at her station.

The windows are opened and the attic fan is pulling in that southern air. It is very cool and crisp here this morning and the smell and feel of the air is so refreshing. The skies are clear -- promising a brilliant sunrise across the farmland. We'll go out and catch it.. and then sit on the swing and soak up the day with our cups of coffee.

I'm hungry, so I think I'll go cook breakfast. Have a great day y'all.. make sure you thank God for giving you this day to worship Him ... and in fact, do just that.

Take a deep breath and relax, Ann. When it's all over, you will wonder why you worried about it. Knowing what a planner you are, I'm sure you'll do beautifully.

If you run out of food, no big deal, just make a run to KFC!
