‘Temple of Obama’

With this memo, the "the One" ad and the celebrity ad, McCain's strategy to win over potential swing votes seems to be to insult them by calling them worshipers and groupies. I see these ads as attacking Obama's supporters more than Obama himself.

McCain may be in his 70s have 25 yrs on Obama, but from these campaigns I question his maturity and judgment more than I question Obama's.

 

Yes, in the past month Senator McCain has pretty much destroyed his own reputation as being a politician who wouldn't go into the gutter to try to win an election. We all know the truth about his low character now.

 

It is Senator McCain's campaign that has gone into the gutter. How despicable on their part.

 

Politics as usual. What is anyone complaining about?

Did you find out why Obama moved to a stadium? Seems like record breaking people requested a ticket within the first 24 hours that they had to move the speech to a facility with more room to accommodate as many as they could. They are saying close to 50K people still had to be turned away even though they only took request for 48 hours...

As for the stage, I guess we'll see what type of stage McCain has next week but he should have them put it up high if he wants to be seen by all.

 

Did the Bible say the republicans would dress the woman? That's who put him in this robe...

 

Then don't say the R's don't follow Jesus' humanitarian teaching and clothe the naked, among other things.

 

So, what will happen if we don't burn incense at the alter of Emperor Obama?

I wonder about the wisdom of having a major acceptance speech on the opening night of college football? Personally, I have no desire to go to Obama's temple. I'll stick with the football game.

I predict that the RNC will get a free ride for all of their coventioneering next week. Its okay, after all if the GOP politic.

Some of the folks here (on the BB) who have attacked every little aspect of the DNC convention will let the RNC do whatever they want without complaint.


But then, many of them think that GOP stands for God's Own Party

I know this is policis, but what a cheap shot by McCain.

 

I was thinking it was just me, his stage had the feel of the hill (sorta speak)... :laugh:

 

I don't think it is really in the gutter. The approach just seems childish and looks to me like a poor strategy to draw potential swing voters.

I think I would be more understanding if he did use more gutter tactics because it would actually benefit his position.
