Guilty. I can't find it... its not in my pick-up, the wifes van, my semi, the house.....It hasn't been out of hands reach since my beloved wife bought it for me but I have somehow misplaced it. I feel naked and borderline sick. I've even wasted time looking for it in places I know it can't be.

Praying you find it! I know how I'd feel if I couldn't find mine.

Yes, I lost the main Bible I was using about 13 years ago. It had a Bible cover that had a zippered section with some notes and personal things. My name was in the Bible but I never found it nor was it turned in (I think I lost it at church).

One of the things I had in it was a picture a Mormon girl I was witnessing to had drawn for me - a ladder that she drew showing how we "climb" to earn salvation. I wanted it as first hand evidence to show people.

This is certainly a cue to EdSutton. He has had the opportunity to share his story for at least (how many times now Ed?) a zillion times.

It's a shame when anyone loses, or hopefully just misplaced, their prized translation. Here's trusting that yours will turn up soon. Then you'll exclaim:"I should have known. So THAT'S where it was! What a relief!"

No, I am painfully aware not to do that. The Mrs had picked out a very nice bible cover once .. Thankfully the bible didn't have a scratch after flying off the van at around 40mph, the cover didn't fair so well.

I am going to be honest, I am praying for one of two out comes...

One, is that you find it and continue to make great use or that someone else finds it and uses it to save many lost souls. Either way would be a plus.

Of course, I will pray for you to find it first... :)

How can you argue with that.

I did that once at a church I was visiting in Mississippi. After services let out I was talking to someone in the parking lot.

Set my Bible on top of the car, got in and drove off. A couple miles down the road I looked over on the other seat and saw that my Bible wasn't there. I turned around and went back, and, thankfully, I found it there alongside the parking lot.

The cover had a little scratch on it, but otherwise it was OK.

I pray that you'll find yours (or as Jamiein NH mentioned that otherwise someone else finds it and uses it to reach people for Christ).

    Found it!!!!

The wife had convinced me I had left it on the pordium after Sunday night services. I almosr ran into the building this morning to get it.... Huh? It aint here.

When we returned home, with my head hanging low I grabbed my go bag to head out for this weeks work...... There it was. I've looked in that bag half dozen times. I have zero clue how I missed it. Anyway I have a big ole smile to start my work week off. If you see a truck driver pulling a tank and smiling from ear to ear this week, just wave. :)

Nope! Never lost a Bible. Now, other books seem to disappear all the time. People borrow books and never return them. People move books on my shelves and replace them in the wrong order.

I have been looking for a book on sign language for four weeks now, and I know it is in this room somewhere...............

    Cheers,

    Jim
