Your college or university library should have access to tons of electronic databases as well as resourcs in their collection. They should have a number of books on the subject. My suggestion is you have to describe the various theories, both the one you agree with and the ones you do not agree with.

    1. Create an outline.
    2. Get a pack of 3x5 cards
    3. Take notes on the cards and label where they should go in the outline. Write the complete reference to the quote in the format required by your college.
    4. Put the cards the outline order
    5. Write your paper. Be sure to footnote all quotes.
    6. Add a bibliography of your sources

    Try some online encyclopedias.

    try these sites

    www.drdino.com

    and google up Ken Hamm

These will be two very---ummmmmm---easily understood sources---then you can browse over each site

And PS never mind the negative comments received----asking help here is kinda sorta like going to the library and asking the little lady there to help you with the card catalog

I mean---what dummy WOULDN'T ask the Librarian ----- "Can you show me where . . . .!! Please??? Pretty please???!!!"

Also---there use to be a lady on the bb whose husband was a creation science speaker----I'll try to remember her name then try to get back with you----seems he has some pretty good stuff, too

Thank you, Johnv--------its www.setterfield.com Try this one

As well as the College Library and Bookstore. Being the product of two private and one public college, I can attest to that. I would avoid is using Kent Hovind, Carl baugh, or Ron Wyatt as sources. Other than that, CTB made some good suggestions in post 22.

    Thanks guys,

I have watched lessons by Answers in Genesis on NRB TV, and didnt even think of them.

I also forgot about our access to Ebsco Host at school, thanks, although there are lots of valid sources with views all over the charts.

I am aware of the unreliability of Wikipedia, as well, our teachers are apt to make that clear, hah

lastly, What I meant by reliable sources (I need 10) is more so reliable people (accurate in their points) and trustworthiness of the actual site of course.

I also wanted your thoughts on Lee Strobel and those around him such as William Lane Craig?

Wikipedia isn't devoid of benefit. It's worthy of being used as a research tool. If a point of topic in Wikipedia is valid, that point will have a reference link. While you shouldn't use Wikipedia as a reference source, you can use its reference links as sources.

Both good. I was going to suggest Strobel, but forgot.

If you want to do a pro-con presentation, you might also cite Dr Hugh Ross and www.reasonstobelieve.org.

Wikipedia is a good resource where the content can be challenged.

Much open mindedness in the contributions where many authors can be closeminded.

    "Q", you need to relax.

Ken Hamm is the best suggestion so far: creation from some one who has studied the bible extensively

There is an excellent free software package you can download named 3x5 card file. Any researcher should find it very useful.

EVERY professor I had negated the use of Wikipedia. It is because you cannot trust the content - being uploaded by whoever and whatever.
Be careful using it at all.

You're lucky so many in this community are so generous. They cut you're homework time in half.

As for Wikipedia...I tell my students use it for general information but don't ever cite it. Especially as they are new to lots of topics Wikipedia does provide some good survey material and can get them started...but I also check it and know when they plagarize. Its a good resource for getting started and/or general info.

I'm not saying to use Wikipedia as a reference. But you can use Wikipedia to locate references. If a person makes a Wikipedia entry, they are supposed to cite a source. You can go that that source to see if the entry is valid or not, and you can use that cited source as a reference.
Harold Garvey, you need to stop acting like a pompous jerk.

My life has been changed by some teachers and professors in the past and that is my ambition among students. Teachers can change good students into lazy students and unmotivated, but they can also change their lives too.

If you need more sources, let me know.

I can give you an alphabetized list of the BB members who were around back then.
