    I don't exactly have a "bed"; it's just a mattress on a wooden slab.

If I could have a job like that, I would actually consider going back to work. When I did work, I always had to sleep on a chair.

Full size bed, plain old regular matress, we do however have an antique iron bed(nothing fancy), which are quit popular and desirable around here.
Would love to have one of those that shape around you, and have a pillow top too, but they're very expensive.

I love our sleep number bed! Pocadots can sleep on a concrete slab number and I can sleep in a sinkhole number. The only trouble is, woe is the child who wakes up with a nightmare and tries to sleep in the middle.

We have a king size bed with a medium boxsprings and mattress set, but we have a down mattress pad on top of them. Very comfortable most of the time, but nothing is comfortable when the knees or back are aching. We recently bought new pillows that are awesome... they have a foam core so they don't flatten out over time.

Warm. Any old surface is fine with me. I can even sleep on my feet these days.

    Cheers,

    Jim

One thing I have never successfully been able to do was sleep on the floor without an air mattress.

After having kids and working in youth ministry, I can sleep anywhere.

But we have a queen sized bed from Costco and it works great. I wish I had a king when the kids were babies but we didn't so ...... we made due.

Oh, I can sleep in a lot of places with a lot of noise and a lot of nonsense. But not on the hard hard floor without cushioning.

    Ever.

Try sleeping on the hard floor of the tube, 80 feet underground, with bombs dropping above.......any bed look good. Or, on the muddy turf of a battlefield.....a bed looks good,,any bed.

    Cheers,

    Jim

After all that, you deserve the best, most comfortable bed possible!

My bed is a simple queen sized one, with a good but not fancy mattress. Nothing spectacular. But it gives me a good night's sleep, so that's all that matters. :sleeping_2:
