Do We Hang Diplomas Anymore?

    That's ok Salty. I have a presidential citation from Korea. It is a small rectangular blue patch with a gold braid and not very many know what it is. Yet, it is the highest award a US president can award a foreign army.

    This is silly. Even more silly that some would judge what others do.

    Each one should do what he has determined in his heart to do. We have so much liberty in Christ. Hang them, don't hang them - that is for each person to decide freely and without judgment. Do what your conscience dictates without judging another person's conscience.

    I think its silly to complain about a post that is (supposedly) silly.

    Siberian hit it on the mark "I was just interested in what people on this board think/do about hanging diplomas" :thumbs:

    There are no silly questions / statements when asked or stated in total honesty.

    Now, If I were to ask Paul if he wears one blue sock and one red sock - now that would be silly - Wait, I actually saw someone wearing those the other day. I told Mrs. Salty - "I betcha he has a matching pair at home" Her answer - You are so silly :smilewinkgrin:

    Honors before all.

    I have all my diplomas, medal award certificates, discharge, and ordination all on a big wall in the church entrance with spot lights shining on them. I also have my Christian humility award on a special display pedestal. :tonofbricks:

    I wasn't referring to the initial thread itself (well, maybe a little). I don't have a problem with wanting to know. I was referring to those who posted and were making wild claims about the motives of those who hang their diplomas, etc. Why can't someone explain why they don't hang their diplomas without casting aspersion on those who do?

    Mine are in the home instead of the office.

    Sorry Salty that silly is so offensive to you. Always amazes me that responses like yours are so common. If you read my post, you would see that my point was that voicing strong opinions about the motives and character of others on the basis of whether they hang their diplomas or not is silly. Actually, it is sinful.
