Uh, yes, like the book "Carrie" (that was kind of a gory book)....after I read it, I never read it again...that book just didn't sit right with me. I have never cared for this book.

Although I never read "Misery" book, I enjoyed the movie version with Kathy Bates. [IMG]

    Taoism by Eva Wong
Madame Blavatsky's Baboon by Peter Washington
Mysticism: A Study and an Anthology by F C Happold

(The three above are for my ministry -- I'm always reading non-Christian books for my ministry)

For fun - murder mysteries! Murder She Wrote books and many others. Someone just gave me the first Monk mystery - can't wait to read it!

The 11th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing is today (Wed., April 19). And I just discovered this book about a week ago.

JGrubbs, they would also probably like another E.B. White classic I read to my kids when they were small. "The Trumpet of the Swan".
