    Any star gazers out there?

What do you use? What do you see?

Tips for a neophyte just getting back into the clear night sky?

Fly me to the moon and let my play among the stars,
Let me see what life is like on Jupiter or Mars . .

    Hi Dr. Bob,

I've wanted to get back into stargazing for a while now. I used to have a cheap telescope when I was a kid and once I even found Saturn!! That was really cool!!

What equipment do YOU have? Do you have the motorized kind that tracks the stars? Do you have the kind that if you enter the coordinates it finds the star for you?

I want a 'scope that's powerful enough to see the LEM's landing site on the moon!! [IMG]

Hi Dr Bob! I like to drag out my scope once in a while and look at stars, planets, moon . . . kind of puts things in perspective. God sure did a great job creating the universe! Sometimes I visit www.space-talk.com and post there even. Its interesting to see people post and argue and the mix of nonsense and wisdom - sort of like here, only its mostly secular!

My father-in-law just bought a pretty nice telescope. This weekend I saw both Saturn and Jupiter, with all four of its visible moons as well.

    It was pretty neat.
