Slowly, but Surely, Our Tax Pays for Sin...

    Not only does our tax pay for the killing of unborn children, and partial-birth murders, it is now paying for trans-gender surgery for employees in city government.

    The city is now looking into covering the cost of this transformation for uninsured people, too! And while you may ask, "I am not a citizen of Frisco, so why should I care?" the truth is, if one city or government body is willing to give into this sinful act, others will eventually follow.

    Like it or not, our taxes are going to support sin, and I for one am against such use of my taxes!

    And yes I know, that my money, when spent on thingss pertinent to me, go to support the sin of those providing me the service, however, none of the places taking and using my money are openly killing babies, or granting the wishful lust of a human-being to change sexes.

    What are your thoughts about a city using tax and federal grant money to pay for uninsured sex reassignment surgery?

    That really, really bothers me, too. I really don't like being forced to do that. I don't like what they've done to my country.

    At the time of Paul, taxes were taken by Caligula for very sinful purposes. We are not responsible for how the money is spent once it is taken from our hands.

    These people driven to such extremes are almost victims themselves. The NIH has on their web site a warning against such surgery based on the high numbers of suicide, and mental illness associated with those who have taken such steps.

    It is frustrating for those who have believed that we were a Christian nation to see it slipping away into wanton immorality and apostasy.

    I would suggest that we never were a Christian nation and that while there were many more Christians in it in the past than there are today, those Christians were deceived into helping advance Satan's plans. Now that they are no longer needed, Satan can start dropping his facade of Christian acceptability.

    Rather than hand wringing about the evil we now see, we may want to reflect on why we were blind to what has been happening all along. Have we been negligent in crying out for wisdom? Have we been friends with the world and thus enemies of God? Have we been walking in the flesh and deaf to the Spirit?

    Ephesians chapter four tells us the work of church leadership is to help us grow into the full image of Christ. It may be that our churches have been distracted from this purpose and we need to find leaders that can help us towards this goal.
