Mel Miller: //I note again your penchant for not accepting
    the obvious reference to
the timing of a specific event! //

Tee Hee. I note you have a penchant for "not accepting the obvious reference to
the timing of a specific event" -- not accepting it
in the same manner as does Mary Ellen White
    the spokeslady for the SDA.

Sorry, In the early 70s I passed the SDA Eschatology course.
So let me add on the positive side - Mel Miller makes it much more
interesting than the normal SDA party line!

    Ed,

This week my views have been twice compared with Seventh Day Adventist doctrine. I don't understand the reasoning behind this
method of response. Is there something I propose that sounds like
    their belief?

My Bad, please excuse me Sir Mel Miller.
I should have listened to myself when I said:
"So let me add on the positive side - Mel Miller makes
it much more interesting than the normal SDA party line!"

Actually you make quite a bit more sense than the
7th Day Adventists. It would be no skin off my nose
if God does things just like you say. But I'll stick around
and debate you awhile more to keep you on your toes ;)
I hope I'm still debating you till the Lord Comes before
the Tribulation Period to collect the saints OR
(if the Lord taries) you are 112+.

1 ¶ Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

    1 Corinthians 4:5 (KJV1611 Edition):
Therefore iudge nothing before the time,
vntill the Lord come, who both will bring to light
the hidden things of darkenesse, and will make manifest
    the counsels of the hearts:
and then shall euery man haue prayse of God.

    The Holman Christian Standard Bible
    1 Corinthians 4:5
    Therefore don't judge anything prematurely,
before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light
what is hidden in darkness and reveal
    the intentions of the hearts.
And then praise will come to each one from God.
