    Could I get an opinion on WHO the 24 elders were that sat at the feast ? And also, there were 12 Apostles..did Jesus replace Judas after he betrayed him? Just be patient, there is a reason for this line of questioning.Thanks :rolleyes:

    If you read the KJV, they are identified as Christians who have been chosen to reign with the Lord during the thousand year kingdom.
    Revelation 5:9-10
    9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
    10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

    As for the apostles, I believe you will find Judas was replaced by Matthias in Acts 1.

    Good reply. 5:9&10 is what I thought of. This passage makes impossible the notion (Ray Steadman, etal)that they are representative of angels. No angels were redeemed by the blood of Christ. So, they are human. The exact identity of them is not clear. Some would say, and this may be a good one: that they are significant people, or top rewards winners during the Church age.

    The BB now has way to many Eschatological topics.
    I'm spending more time on Eschatology than
    working :(

    I'll be responding to these and other matters
    at this location:

    (BTW, the non-baptists seem to be more
    congenial than baptists anyway :confused: )
