...and already the libs are trying to blame the WV mining tragedy on President Bush.

As is my usual custom, I turned on SiriusRight this morning to hear Laura Ingraham. When she wasn't on, just for kicks, I went up one to SiriusLeft and listened to Alex Bennett for a few minutes.

After making fun of President Reagan for contracting Alzheimers (who knew liberals had so much class as to make fun of such things?), he and a caller to his show then launched in to how this was "all President Bush's fault for nominating so and so".

What in the world is wrong with these people?

And they call us "mean spirited"? You've got to be kidding me. Is there any tragedy they won't exploit?

Anyone who follows a liberal path in this life is not following how God is. God told Israel again and again to turn from their way and back to His. God is conservative!! Conservatism is His way!! They sure do seem to be liberal in their distribution of "blame". It's probably a case of transference (them putting their inherent feelings of guilt on someone else). They have to do it to keep their consciences from exploding. They hate the same way that satan hates...

No. We conservatives will continue to hurt over the way the country is run, the rampant godless liberalism everywhere, and to do what it takes to fix it.

You had me until then. I think that's a bit over the top. God doesn't care a wit about manmade partisanship.

I didn't say manmade partisanship. I said conservative. God's way is to be conservative. Liberalism is not his way. People who follow liberalism are not following God's way.

I think that statement is extremely broadbrushing, and somewhat limiting of God. But hey, that's just me. So of the most staunch percieved religious conservatives are actually liberals. KJVOists and legalists, to name a few. Then again, I've been called a liberal for my stance against KJVOism and legalism, so go figure.

The eary Christians were radical liberals because their objective was to change the world. Mixing religion and politics makes for this kind of argument which just doesn't hold water. Whast this kind of behavior does is to turn ofmany of those we want to reach with the gospel.

No. God wants radical Christians not conservative or liberal. The liberals and conservatives are lukewarm. They serve God and the world. Liberals may be atheists but many conservatives are practical atheists by the way they share their faith and make disciples. I have seen older men literally shake and get nervous when I take them out to share their faith and stretch them in their faith in other ways.

God is not conservative. He is radical. Conserving resources and reducing waste may be part of His way.

1 Samuel 15:29 God does not change His mind (conserves His ways)
Psalm 110:4 God will not change His mind
Malachi 3:6 God says, "I the Lord do not change"
    (there are more)

Conservatism... It's God's way... What a radical idea!!

God did change his mind ...Jeptha and his daughter.

The story of Jeptha in Judges 11 does not provide exact detail to know exactly what happened. Jeptha vowed that if he won an important battle against Ammon, he would dedicate "whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return peace . . . I will offer it up as a burnt offering" (Judges 11:31). Unfortunately, the first to come out was his only child, his daughter.

I think God gave him a reprieve on that one ..others can spin it..but that was the vow Jeptha gave and I believe God granted mercy and released him from the vow.

</font>[/QUOTE]It's being run in a knee jerk, reactionary way by an executive branch that has had no time to do anything other than put out liberal fires.
