Over the course of the last year or longer, the tone of my posts have not reflected the Spirit within, but the flesh. I have let a few posters get under my skin, and those type of posts that I would normally let roll off my back when I first came here have been replied to in kind. I have been less than Christ like in my replies to Luke2427, P4T, iconoclast, Johndeerefan, Yeshua, Havensdad, saturneptune, and I'm sure a host of others. I want to apologize to them as well as the board.

Going forward I am going to participate much less here as well as ignoring the vitriolic toned posts and replies. If I don't reply to someone, its not that I can't...its that I won't. :)

Even though I disagree with many of the soteriological, eschatological, hamartiological and general theology of some on this board, fact is we are still spiritual siblings, and at the end of the day will embrace and tell each other we love each other. I have learned a lot while on this board, and even changed some views due to the wisdom found here. I truly look forward to meeting each and every one of you without these clouds of flesh hindering us.

    Brother,

Your post is a reminder that my tone has often been less than gracious. Something for me to repent of.

Thank you for your honesty. May the Lord continue to sanctify you, as He makes you more like Him (Phil. 1:6).

God bless you brother for your humble character and integrity. It is evidence not only of the Spirit of God's presence in your life but also His evident and on-going work. Would to God that we all, including myself, would have that kind of fruit in our lives. It is also why I'm not posting more here these days than I used to. I've always heard it said that there is a reason why God gave man TWO EARS...and ONLY ONE TONGUE! These days...with all this "technology" we have, people are just as apt to let their TEN FINGERS wag (on a keyboard)as much or more as their "tongues". We all need to pray for discernment and wisdom before, during, and even after we post. God Bless you brother. I, like yourself, look forward to that ETERNAL day when we are unfettered by this vile flesh!

I was kind of surprised to see my name on the list you said you had replied with a sharp tone. I do not recall you doing that. Anyway, your thread is a positive influence on us all, and makes us stop and think about the words and tone we have used towards brothers and sisters in Christ. It takes the Holy Spirit in you to post such a thought.

I see several signs of an improved atmosphere here, in fact started a thread that went no where. Anyway, God bless you, your family, and ministries for the Lord.

webdog, some people would gripe if they were getting hung with a new rope. Otherwise, don't worry about it. As they say in the military..., it's all in 20.

Bro. Greg, I'll jump in here, in case SN doesn't drop in any time soon. He and I serve the same church here in far Western Kentucky That is at the other end of the state. The Ark Encounter project is at Williamstown, Kentucky--in Northern Kentucky, south of Cincinnati.

Ken Ham's Creation Museum is in St. Petersburg, KY about seven miles from Cincinnati.

SN and I are at least 400 miles away from there.

    Now back to the thread.

Love ya Dog. Nice words. I think we all can learn from you. We all can be bullies when not face-to-face talking with our computers. I'm an offender many times and sometimes I feel I need to just quit the forum, but I love coming here too much so I must change. Maybe you have started something really good here. Thanks and God bless.

    That takes guts!

Dawg - I think you have just witnessed a manifestation of spiritual growth within! I've been where you are, and it is really tempting not to give another your piece of your mind! Nevertheless, I have always said that when you give a piece of your mind to another out of anger, you lose real PEACE!

I doubt if many remember your words, but you remembered those words, and that is a sign of the Holy Ghost moving within us, and it is that same Holy Ghost that nudged you to apologize, that has, likewise, nudged me many times.

I only wish that those who have been so mean to me, and others, would do what you have done, because losing it is part of going beyond the temptation, and we know that is sin! And when we sin, we need to make amends.

You are a special person for sharing your candid side of heart, and I for one :applause: you! Shalom!!!

    Pastor Paul
