That's a bit of an unfair statement. Neither SFiC nor I were on this board prior to 2000, so the accusation in the post is without merit. As for me, my post would have been the same if a democrate were in the oval office. It would be the same regardless of who's in the oval office.

Meant it has a general statment and not at anyone personally. You have to agree that GENERALLY Clinton was DISPISED by evangelical christianity. I meant to type "this" and not "his" in my statement. Sorry for the typo.

Pro 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

    Bush ain't a king (yet).

He is a citizen, same as I (theoretically), and as an elected (some say) public servant serves at the will of the people, not vice versa.

The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the US are unbiblical in that they defy the divine right of kings to rule. Pray for Bush but don't bend your knee to him.

Understood. Yes, I'm inclined to agree that any demoncrate in office is typically deapised by most in the evangelical community. That is partially due to the fact that many evangelical Christians are members of the "religious right", and many others have this notion that the only true Christians are evangelical Christains.

As for me, I will respect any man in the office, even if I disagree with him completely. It's common Christians courtesy. And, regardless of who's in the big chair, I will pray for that person.

I'll pray for them as well brother because that's the biblical thing to do. But when they are openly wicked (like Clinton and Bush) I'll give them the John the Baptist treatment.

Fine, give him the John the Baptist treatment. But don't go blasting his name to everyone who will listen to you.

John the Baptist did not talk about people behind their back. He waited until them came to him before calling them a generation of vipers.

Matthew 3:7-8 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Please cite the poll that says the American troops don't believe in the Iraq mission.

"Anything I write here is a matter of public record. no one is going behind anybodys back."

Then I guess you won't mind if I send your hateful remarks about our President to one of his Air Force One staff to pass on to him?

Ya do have a John the Baptist complex don't ya? Except for spreading the name calling through media instead of waiting to talk to the person face to face.

Do you think that king George would give a peon like me an audience? If he did, I'd tell him the same thing to his face. I have that right as a citizen. Has for you passing on anything I say, do what ever the Lord leads you to do and may he reward you for your motives.
BTW, true believers will have to be delt with sooner or later and who better to help than the party faithful.

I wonder if President Bush will order a war with Iran to begin a couple of weeks before the November elections if, come October, it looks like the GOP will lose control of the Congress?

I wonder how many people believe Bush has the power to "order wars" Ken. Apparently Bush, the neocons and the justice dept believe that he does but have they really convinced the American people of it also?

By this comment are you saying that President Bush is not saved and is engaged in actions, as a leader, that are contrary to Biblical ways?

If so, how do you know whether he is saved or not? Isn't that up to the Lord? While we may observe conduct and deduce what we think is the state of a person we certainly do not know.

If so, specifically what actions, in his role as a leader, is he engaged that are contrary to Biblical ways? Are these things completely within his power to address?
