Dang it, I HAD to pick Notre Dame against Stanford this week. I am going with Minnesota over Michigan too!

Stanford gave USC more than they wanted, so I feel good picking them to beat the Irish. I also picked Minnesota over Michigan and Cal to upset USC again. (I know it is a longshot, but Cal looks pretty good.) I picked Florida over LSU, but I may change that one. And, of course, I picked my Sooners to continue their dominance over the longhorns. Hopefully OU's defense will play a lot better than they have been recently.

The Razorbacks' bowl hopes took a hit with their awesome freshman running back, Peyton Hillis, getting injured in the Florida game. He is probably out for the rest of the year. Hopefully Matt Jones will still be able to finish out his senior year with a bowl game.

The power rankings have Louisville ranked #1, and for the first half against Miami, they looked like the ranking could be accurate. Unfortunately, Louisville's defense didn't show up in the 2nd half, resulting in a 3 point Hurricane win.

I am hoping for a big payback win for the Sooners against K-State on the road this weekend. It would be nice for Peterson to have another 200+ yard game and outperform another preseason Heisman contender, Sproles. But I imagine K-State will probably commit to stopping the run and try to make Jason White beat them with his arm since he hasn't had to throw very much this year.

I was doing great until Wisconsin beat Purdue! That was my 10 pointer. I picked Iowa beating Ohio State, but only had a 2 point confidence on it.

Rod, How do we drop the 1st week score if we had zero? Is that automatic?

It will be close, but South Carolina will actually win against Arkansas this year.

Hate to say it, but I find it hard to believe that we will win more than 5 games this year.

I only picked 8 out of ten. I though Kansas state was gold.

    This week is tough.

Sometimes, I really wish I could understand what goes on inside of that brain of Matt Jones. Why throw a hail mary and get intercepted when all you need to do is set up a field goal to tie and go into overtime. Well, now we go to 3-5. I predict we will finish 5-6.

How about Texas A&M WHOOP! I hear they will either go to the Cotton Bowl or the Peach Bowl. The peach would be interesting after coach Fran dumped alabama to come to A&M.

I hate to brag (ok not really) 14-4 this week! Good thing I dont have friends in vegas - I might think I knew what I was doing.

I think there is one that we did last year. I will have to look this weekend. It has been really busy at work lately, so I haven't had any free time to visit here and my regular sports websites.

I haven't read much about college basketball this year, but I imagine the ACC will be the dominant conference once again. I don't think my Sooners are even in the preseason top 25 in most polls.
