I'm curious as to what you are saying to these people to make them act like that. Normal people don't get stalked on a regular basis.

In college there was this street preacher who would come on campus then wait for random girls to walk by and start yelling at them saying they're a sl*^. He'd tell them that a fraternity probably has a tape of her getting jiggy and all kinds of crazy mess. He made quite a bit of people mad and attracted some people who would follow him and yell back. Curious as to if you're doing the same thing then wondering why there is crazy people stalking you.

A street preacher once stood in front of a Roman Catholic church to berate their idolatry.
    Somebody smashed his face.
He went back to his church rejoicing that he was accounted worthy to be persecuted.
What do you are think ? Was he ?

Bingo! Sometimes people say more than they intend to say.

Time hack 5:27 -- "Sanctification means 'being saaaaaaved ... "? Really?

John? Brother ... you're really not very good at this.

People will see what they want to in this passage. The question you have to consider is that if they needed it for self defense, why was two swords between twelve people "enough" especially considering they could have gotten more?

Also you have to wonder why you and every other self defense fan who tries to justify it with the Bible always stops or leaves things out? Luke 22:37 always gets skipped:

"For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end."

He tells you exactly why he wants the swords, and it isn't self defense, he is fulfilling a prophecy, that's why only two between twelve people was "enough". If this wasn't true he wouldn't have told Peter to put his sword up when he tried to use it.

Isaiah 53:12 "Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

It is possible to have a discussion with folks whereby they can be convinced to step outside the sanctuary.

Our pastor has done so and so has our executive pastor. A lot of times, the person just wants to make sure somebody "high up" has heard him and will step out if he gets their ear.

I've read them both. Ray and Kirk came to our church back in 2009, I believe, and conducted the training.

I'm not a tract type of person. I prefer being a bit more relational so that if the person does come to Christ they aren't wondering what to do next. Scripture says to make disciples. You make enough disciples and they'll do what you're doing and then one day, by the grace of God, there will no longer be a need because we will spread the Gospel to everyone He intends to hear and we can go on home.

Doing what I normally do. Just pass out tracts, talk with people, tell them about Hell, and use the LAW to bring conviction. I do not violate laws nor harass people, however preaching the truth will get one persecuted as Jesus said so.

He was very bold in his move. I have seen Ray Comfort and the Way of the Master team do things like this. Persecution will come to those that stand for truth.

It says that, but it also says to preach to all creatures (humans) (Mk 16:15). My point is this. God uses all types to bring about the lost. You do not have the gifts I have, nor do I have your gifts. But we both can work to evangelize the lost.

There's a big difference between true persecution and provoking people to anger by pestering the snot right out of them.

If you think that you are led or called to such a work, keep at it. Do not let the brethren discourage you.

Ed. to add- I do wonder about your seeming eagerness to be persecuted.
