TO is a great player. He just does not know how to be a man. He blames everyone else for anything that happens.

The arguement that says he deserves a 2nd chance is ridiculous. He burned the 49ers. He burned the Ravens. He burned the Eagles. How many chances does he get? What makes anyone believe he isnt going to burn the Cowboys?

Of course he is going to sit behind the microphone today and say all the right words, just like he did in Philly. But when the games are starting to be played and things do not go his way, look out.

How many chances has God given you?

    Matthew 18:21-22 (ESV)
Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?" [22] Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven."

Looks like it's gonna be a long, miserable NFL season upcoming for the anti-Cowboys folks. [IMG]

Some Cowboy fans may act happy now, but they will be the first ones crying when TO does his usual thing and burns them too. [IMG]

And if T.O. behaves, the anti-Cowboys folks will be the ones crying. [IMG]

</font>[/QUOTE]Forgiving and trusting are on opposite sides of the fence. Forgive him but don't trust him, because he will do what he has proven over and over again to do.

I agree with Pastor ... he may play nice this year, but once something gets in the way of him being in the center of attention then he will make up some story like Drew Blesoe is a into Islam and a uni-bomber.

So we should forgive you but not trust you because of your mistakes and sins, eh?

Okay. If that's that the way you want it. ;)

Actually, a pretty stupid article overall.

As I said, hopefully the Cowboys will win next season's Super Bowl. It's pretty dumb of the anti-Cowboys folks to be talking about two seasons from now.

Of course, maybe that is their way of acknowledging the the Cowboys will win it all for the sixth time next season.

    Ah, now I understand. [IMG]

Okay, lets look at it this way.

Your youth pastor admits to having did some sexually improper things with some students. Do you slap him on the wrist and say we forgive you everyone has fails oh by the way we trust you and believe you will do the right thing?

If you are caught stealing from your employer should he forgive you? Of course ... but trust?

Owens is a cancer and I would rather lose than have him on my team. He has proven his character over and over again.

Convicted, probably best just to drop it. Ken has swallowed the Owens stuff hook, line, and sinker.

Look on the bright side, now we get to watch the Cowboys not only lose, but lose with a lot of comedy as well. [IMG]

Except this is not about sexual misconduct or stealing. This is about a game and a player's having had a problem with diarrhea of the mouth that even Kaopectate couldn't stop.

I would think that all Christians would wish T.O. well in his rehabilitation and new start with the Cowboys instead of expecting the worst from him. Christians should be folks who understand the concept of redemption and turning one's life around even when the odds look against it.

BTW I am not anti-cowboys, but I am anti-Jerry Jones. I will root for the boys again once he is gone.

This is yet another reason for me to hate the Cowboys. Personally I think this is great. Everywhere T.O. goes he seems to bring trouble with him. I hope that goes without saying in Dallas as well.
