I couldn't really think of a subject for this. I just wanted to see what other teens do in there church? Like for youth activities? And if you like your church? Or is there anything you would change if you could? How? Why? or Why not?

Do I like my Church? YES!!! I love my Church!!! I feel closer to God in Church then any other place! What do I do? I just make my self available! I do offering, read Bible scriptures, pray, shovel walks, clean toilets, teach Sunday School... I do whatever is asked of me!

For Youth Activities in my church we do lots of different stuff. We go bowling or to putt-putt. We also have a family that lets us come over anytime we want. We have a great time. One Big Happy Family.

In visiting many churches I find that most youth groups are nothing more than meat factories for over sexed kids who are looking for somthing fresh. I don't mean to be a rude but we need to return to the standards of 100+ years ago. Please, as someone who has been there, do not make the strongest influence on your lives other kids. They do not know any more than you do and that isn't much. Hang around and be like all of the old folks who grew up with morals.

When I was 19, the two things that gave me a jump start were Church history ( the Rformation inparticular) and old time deep theology. It is my experience that most kids have enough to do but not enough to think about. Hope it helps.

In my experience with youth, if they are not showing signs of growth then sit down and talk to them personally. Ask them what they think is needed and what they would like to see change. Be real with them and get imput from their perspectives on what they find interesting and pray about it from that point

Our youth group is kinda decreasing most of the teens are falling by the way side. It is sad not many come out to the youth activities anymore. We used to get like 40 or 50 at youth conference. This year we only got 20 and youth activities we only get 10 ppl. I used to have close friends that came to youth activities but don't anymore. All you can really do is pray for those teens. If all else fails pray..pray...oh yeah and pray.

    Not all true .
at my church summer is big. it is the most spiritual time of the year. it is when many
go back to (******) public school.that they start to die ,if we do not keep after them.

We try to get our activities on the calendar and out to parents early so they can plan their vacations around them.

Attendance is down some, but not as bad as it could be.

I love my church, and I try to help out with some of the ministries, and anywhere else they need me. For instance, I have been helping out in AWANAS now. I really enjoy it. I get to talk to unsaved kids about God, and they listen. The kids keep coming back. I am really thankful that God has put me in the church I have been in for so long. Now, I am going to be going to a different church. My dad is a pastor in NE, so we are now moving. I enjoy the chruch were moving to, because you can tell that the people have a desire to learn more about God.
