FTP for Dummies

    I'm getting a blank screen on our church word press website. I've read I can get to the website through my FTP. From there I need to delete my plugins and re-download them. I've researched FTP and just don't get it. I don't even think I have one. I'm using a 2013 Macbook Pro. Any suggestions?

    Here is a list of FTP Clients you can download for free and use. However, if you do not know what you are doing you can permanently delete the wrong files and you will have to start over. If you cannot find someone to help you I will be glad to. Should you decide you could use my help pm me and we can trade info or maybe even facetime. If you are in experienced with this I would not try it. I have personally done this too many times due to plugin errors. plus I am familiar with the file folders in wordpress.

    Turns out the host is having issues. I can get on the site, but are not able to edit. We are looking for a new host.
