Has anyone already started their Christmas shopping?
I have! I've got a bunch of presents for kids, a new drill for my husband and a beautiful necklace for my mother in law.
    I started in July!
    Anyone else crazy like me?

I haven't started yet but I have been looking around for some ideas. I will probably go out this weekend and see what I can find. I also do a lot of my shopping online so I have been checking out various sites. I haven't ordered anything just yet. I have to start somewhere! I would rather get it done early then be the last minute shopper which I have been the past few years.

I haven't started and I won't until December. Christmas as already been commercialised enough already, and I think people have lost the meaning of Christmas and what it should really be about.

I'll buy gifts for my loved ones to celebrate Christmas, not because I'm expected to by social pressure.

I haven't started but I have started thinking about it. Fortunately, we have a Christmas Club kind of an account (just a manually managed account with ING/Capital One 360 that automatically withdraws money from my checking account weekly) so I have enough to do all of the Christmas shopping without going into debt. :)

I haven't and won't because Christmas is pagan and I don't celebrate it.

This is a wonderful idea so that you don't have to try and come up with the money during the holidays. It is always smart to plan ahead! :)

I bought a Christmas present for our grandson today. I shop for birthday and Christmas presents throughout the year. I plan on cutting back this year tho'. I have told my family (brothers and sisters) that we all have so much stuff that I am cutting back. The last couple of years have been so stressful. So now this year everyone is getting a card for life birthday card. They all had their card for life Christmas cards last year. If they choose to keep them then they can bring them out year on year. We all have lovely presents from past events that we can look back on. Our children now buy us more practical gifts such as edible gifts or seeds for the garden. We want to get back to the real meaning of Christmas and ditch the commercialism.

What might be crazy is if your husband happens to see this.
