Well, good for him, sounds he's going full-on vegan, wonder if he's going quit wearing leather and other animal products as well. Not for me, I think I could do it except for the cheese. Anyways, Rev. Graham sounds like he is doing it for health and weight-related issues, the vegan thing isn't lefty to me, there are scores of Seventh Day Adventists out here that are vegan and they vote conservative.

If I had gown up eating Western North Carolina BBQ, I'd probably have turned vegan, too.

Eastern North Carolina BBQ is best BBQ. :Thumbsup

Couldn't help thinking - I am SO GLAD we are not under the mosaic law dietary restrictions.

Why? Minimum of 2 things 1) Bacon! 2) BBQ pork ribs!

I'm a San Franciscan. Lobster is all but tasteless to me compared to fresh off the boat boiled at home crab.

As a former Sacramentan, I concur. Some of us from McClellan AFB would drive over to San Fran and rent a boat to spend the day crabbing. We would use chicken wings as bait in the traps - nothing better than fresh caught crab.

I live right on the edge of the Washington State Oakland Bay (NOT California) Inlet and one of my sons (Joe) and I would go crabbing in the deeper parts of the inlet. We caught copious amounts. One day Joe called and wanted to go out for crabs. I couldn't. Never thought I would get weary of crab meat but that year was a bonanza.

Got my taste back though. But Joe and family moved to Florida!:Frown

I ate enough lobster in Massachusettes. I bought them straight from the pound.
