    4 years active, then I got a full time job with the Guard on Bragg, after my wife became a civilian RN at Womack.

    Hanger at the south end of treasure Island, CA Showed for work at 8, coffee till 10, clean or paint till 11, lunch, off in the afternoon. Too bad it was only temp duty while waiting for a ship to return from tour in Far East.

    I was there yesterday or near what is left of GAFB. Not much there that you would recognize except the flight line. I pastored a church in Rome from 1992-1995.

    I was at GAFB 1961 - 1964 Part of the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) Attached to ROMAC.

    It seems like I heard that the housing area could not be used because of asbestos
