No because Trump and many of his supporters hold to these unchristian positions. There is no way to hold that these positions in any way were taught by Jesus. Nor is there any way that many of these stances are constitutional as they do not support the 'general welfare' of citizens, but harm the welfare of these citizens.

Yes or No: must a president hold positions taught by Jesus and no other positions?

Obviously not. Trump has yet to hold positions that Christ would approve of when it comes to healthcare and taxes.

Would that be not having health insurance and just trusting in Christ for healing?

And we should all pay our taxes by getting coins out of the mouths of fish?

'Obviously not' for any president. And what did Jesus teach about healthcare, anyway?-- no provision for stopping the bleeding from cutting off your hand or gouging out your eye. He did say "he that shall save his life shall lose it, ..."

    OK
You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You shall not commit murder’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell [Matthew 5:21-22].

Considering the violent protests, the name calling and the hate expressed, there are obviously a great number of Trump detractors who are guilty of murder in Jesus' eyes; guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.Do you disagree with Jesus?

If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life crippled, than, having your two hands, to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire, [where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.] If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame, than, having your two feet, to be cast into hell, [where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.] If your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be cast into hell, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched. [Mark 9"43-48].

So where does healthcare come in? Jesus is instructing the opposite of "care."

For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it [Matthew 16:25].

Much of healthcare is wishing to save one's life. Is it more important to do so than to lose it for Jesus' sake?
Now go ahead; argue with these things Jesus so clearly did say.

    What is your beef?

Defining people of which religion "supports" Trump?
    or
    Constitutional welfare provisions?

    Because ~

It is none of your business, what a person's religious beliefs are who have decided to support Trump.
    AND
Constitutional provisions that provide government welfare to the people, is Constitutionally defined to be for the public at large, (such as roads, postal, patents, money value) NOT particular classes of people,
whom the "government" decides is "qualified", (such as poor, rich, race, minorities, faith) .

    Something Christ did not say:
"You will have health and wealth if you just have enough faith."
By the way, do you ever wonder if Joel Osteen has health insurance? Seems like he'd be showing a lack of faith to purchase it.

Let's start with something His Father said: You will have no other gods before Me.

Show me your legislation for that, then you can talk about the rest.
