    Revelation 17:1 KJB - And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:​

    Revelation 17:2 KJB - With whom the kings of earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.​

    The corrupt [whore, unfaithful, idolatrous] church [woman] is seen in "fornication" with "the kings of the earth" [the rulers of state-power].

    This "woman" has a problem, and it is her love of sin.

    She loves to "fornicate", and is even addicted to this sin. She refuses to repent [Revelation 2:21 KJB].

    She loves to murder, for she kills the saints and makes open and secret war upon them.

    She is covetous, and craves gold, precious stones, purple and scarlet.

    If one looks carefully, she is seen in violation of all Ten Commandments. Even as she is manifesting the "mystery of iniquity" (as her "father" before her (John 8:44 KJB)), and is headed by "the man of sin", that "son of perdition".

    Yet, notice what comes of her "fornication" (unholy, unsanctified, union/atonement) with "the kings of the earth", even as she has many harlot daughters about her, but something more comes of this illicit union of Church and State:

    A "child" is born of this union.

    The "child of the papacy", will be a Church and State amalgamation.

    It is the foretold, "National (the later, international) Sunday Law".

    "National (State) Sunday (Church) law (State)".

    "... Protestants now urge that the resurrection of Christ on Sunday made it the Christian Sabbath. But Scripture evidence is lacking. No such honor was given to the day by Christ or his apostles. The observance of Sunday as a Christian institution had its origins in that "mystery of lawlessness" [2 Thessalonians 2:7 R.V.] which, even in Paul's day, had begun its work. Where and when did the Lord adopt this child of the papacy? What valid reason can be given for a change which the Scriptures do not sanction? ..." - The Great Controversy 1888, page 54.1
    As type foretold:

    Ezekiel 8:16 KJB - And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.​

    About 25 men, these being 24 + 1, priesthood, and they had their back to the Law of God, and did not worship God, the Creator [Exodus 20:8-11 KJB], but rather instead, faced the east, towards the sunrising and the sun thereof, worshipping the creation, and manmade religion.

    Turn your eyes toward the Temple of the LORD in heaven, and see what is therein that real place - Revelation 11:19; 15:5 KJB

    What's in the real Ark in the real Most Holy Place of the True Tabernacle, which the LORD pitched and not man? - Hebrews 8:2 KJB

    Psalms 89:34 KJB

    What of that specific and "Holy" [Exodus 20:8 KJB] commandment therein?

    Open your Bibles to Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-25 KJB; more specifically the Mark passages, and consider them in the light of Ecclesiastes 1:9; 3:15 and 1 Corinthians 15:44-46 KJB, in that history is to repeat, and the natural explains the spiritual, and that Antichrist will counterfeit everything that Jesus did.

    In those passages we see Jesus get into a boat, a ship, with his disciples and set sail across the Sea of Galilee [Tiberius, etc], and while Jesus is asleep a massive storm, with terrific winds, sweeps over them suddenly, and the disciples do all in their own power and strength to bail out the incoming waters, and to forcefully row through it. They are about to sink, when they turn to Jesus and wake him up, and Jesus stands in the midst and says to the raging winds and sea, waters, PEACE, BE STILL, and there follows calm, tranquility, peace and stability, even then, they are suddenly safe, and in awe, and the disciples worship him, for they see that Jesus controls these things by his very word.

    Now, Antichrist is about to counterfeit this miracle. Watch and see:

    The "sea", being a bowl or basin, in which "water" accumulates [Genesis 1:9,10,22; Isaiah 11:9; Jeremiah 52:17,20; Revelation 4:6, 15:2 KJB], which "water" is representative of peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues [Isaiah 57:20; Revelation 17:15; Psalms 65:7; Isaiah 17:12,13; Jeremiah 51:42 KJB, etc]. It can also represent the bowl or basin (Laver) of the Sanctuary [Psalms 77:13,19 KJB and 1 Kings 7:23-25,39,44; 2 Kings 25:13,16; 1 Chronicles 18:8; 2 Chronicles 4:2-4,6,19 KJB].

    In the days of Joseph, money failed in the land of Egypt (represents the secular world and worldliness, the contrast to Canaan, promised land), and money failed in the land of Canaan (the religious world, populated by God's peoples, the heavenly minded), see Genesis 47:15,16 KJB.

    History is repeating itself, and we, who are truly Joseph's, will know what needs to be done, even as Daniel in Babylon. Yet, the world will seek the miracles of Antichrist, not desiring to give up their sinful ways.

    Just as Jesus was in the boat, so too now Antichrist.

    The "boat", or "ship", represents the 'houses' which carry cargo, driven by winds, even the fierce winds of war, strife, competition, etc (which merchants cause wars, that they may play both sided to always win, and reap rewards, the Hegelian, Jesuitical principle, Ordo ab Chao (Order comes through Chaos/Revolution)), and the ship trades upon the "seas", the "waters", and is thus the ECONOMIC and FINANCIAL entities, dealing in trade, commerce, money markets, stock markets, banks, monopolies (like the Federal Reserve System, Central Banks, the mint cartels), business operations, merchants of the earth, the masters of the Gold, Silver, Brass, Iron, Tin, and precious metals, ores, things, and even all valuable commodities, even animals, people as slaves, and weather control, for profit (1 Kings 9:26-28; 2 Chronicles 8:18, 9:20,21; Psalms 104:25,26, 107:23; Proverbs 31:14; Isaiah 60:9; Ezekiel 27:9,12-36; Daniel 11:30; Jeremiah 50:37; Luke 5:7 ("partners", ie. in business); James 3:4 ("winds"); Revelation 18:3,11-19,23 KJB, etc.)

    Yet, right now the money markets are going up and down as the tempest tossed waves, and water is coming in, and though the persons in the boat are struggling with all their might, the whole system is about to go under and drown.

    What will those in the boat do, seeing no hope in sight, and men's knowledge and strength fail? They will turn to a spiritual leader, whom they think can deliver them, one that they think is Christ-like. They will turn to the Antichrist, because they are deceived.

    Antichrist will arise and pronounce over the system of things, PEACE, BE STILL (and SAFETY, CALM, TRANQUILITY, STABILITY), and it will appear to work ... for a season ... but scripture says, sudden destruction will follow this Nation Sunday Law and market, climate change legislation.

    They are actually fighting against the true God of Heaven, even the Lamb.

    "... The world is no more ready to credit the message for this time than were the Jews to receive the Saviour's warning concerning Jerusalem. Come when it may, the day of God will come unawares to the ungodly. When life is going on in its unvarying round; when men are absorbed in pleasure, in business, in traffic, in money-making; when religious leaders are magnifying the world's progress and enlightenment, and the people are lulled in a false security--then, as the midnight thief steals within the unguarded dwelling, so shall sudden destruction come upon the careless and ungodly, "and they shall not escape." 1 Thessalonians 5:3 KJB ..." - The Great Controversy (1911), page 38.1
    Look up Luke 21:25 KJB, see "perplexity", as it means, 'no way out', 'no human solution will solve', 'confounded', 'all things tried and failed, not knowing what to do'.

    There is only one Way out. Jesus (John 14:6,15; Exodus 20:6 KJB), see John 14:1-3 KJB.

    Consider, even Francis's [Jesuit] encyclical [Color coded for clarity] Laudato Si - Laudato si' (24 May 2015) | Francis

    "Praise be to you, my Lord, through our Sister, Mother Earth ..."​

    I hope all do realize that "he" just connected the 'gospel' [of Rome] to the [save the] planet and environmental salvation ideology. It is nothing new with Rome, but now more prominent, and open.

    "... This is why the earth herself, burdened and laid waste, is among the most abandoned and maltreated of our poor; she “groans in travail” (Rom 8:22) ..."​

    For in it, "he" ties the worship of the Romish Sunday [false Sabbath] and their so-called 'gospel' of religious [not secular, but Religious] 'humanism' ["an authentic human ecology" [Francis I. Laudato Si. May 24, 2015] and "a truly human life and to fulfill their family obligations in a worthy manner" [John XXIII.Mater Et Magistra. 1961]], and the violation thereof, to natural disasters [called global warming, etc] and thus says to all the people of earth:

    "... This sister now cries out to us because of the harm we have inflicted on her by our irresponsible use and abuse of the goods with which God has endowed her ..."

    The connection of natural disasters [called "extreme weather events"] to "lifestyle" [the way one lives, ie does all things "human", such as "work", "rest", and "worship" [keep reading] and "when" they do those things according to Romish policies]:

    "... A very solid scientific consensus indicates that we are presently witnessing a disturbing warming of the climatic system. In recent decades this warming has been accompanied by a constant rise in the sea level and, it would appear, by an increase of extreme weather events, even if a scientifically determinable cause cannot be assigned to each particular phenomenon.     [Thus the mentality of Pharoah [King of the South, Daniel 11:40, Secular Humanism/Atheism, etc, Egypt being the World] is that "get you unto your burdens." [Exodus5:4] [work, work, work, and no rest, "... Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens." [Exodus 5:5]] is what is harming the environment, and so because of this supposed violation of [Rome's] "Moral" law, the false Ten Commandments of the Traditional Catechetical Formula, in "human" "lifestyle", with the [false sabbath] Sunday being violated. This will be the reason given for the repeated calls to join in the "new and universal solidarity". They have called for, and will call again for legislation in all the world [beginning in the USA first at state, local levels, then at a national level, following thereafter to all nations] to be passed to rest on Sundays, that the environment might be saved, and it will "look good" to swallow [think Genesis], but it is wickedness in disguise [think serpent], even as that messenger of light [2 Corinthians 11:14] calls for "peace, peace" when there is no peace with the violation of God's Law, Exodus 20:1-17 in the Holy 7th Day the Sabbath of the LORD thy God, and all the others. Man's law or God's Law, which you will obey? Which is sin to violate?]​

    [ie, if anyone is seen to be going against this 'all get together' and especially the plot of protecting the environment through Sunday sacredness [rest] to be legislated by laws/government, will be seen as a "mindset" against the "common good", and eventually a danger to all, ie, "selfish", "self-centered", "self-absorbed", "individualistic", and thus a threat [terrorist/fundamentalist] to the "moral" [church] 'common good' as well as to the global commonality ["solidarity"] [state] of societal, local, National and International interests along all lines, ecological, technological, economical, etc.]​

    The tie-in with "sacrament" [thus dealing with salvation, according to Rome]:

    The same Catholic authority says:

    "It must be admitted that the work of Gratian was as near perfection as was then possible.     Different popes added their own decrees to the collection of Gratian, as the following quotation will show: {1943 CE, FAFA 220.2}

    After the Council of Trent, Pope Pius V had this "Canon Law " revised. {1943 CE, FAFA 220.4}

    "Pius V appointed (1566) a commission to prepare a new edition of the 'Corpus Juris Canonici.' This commission devoted itself especially to the correction of the text of the 'Decree' of Gratian and of its gloss. Gregory XIII ('Cum pro munere,' 1 July, 1580; 'Emendationem,' 2 June, 1582) decreed that no change was to be made in the revised text. This edition of the 'Corpus' appeared at Rome in 1582, in aedibus populi Romani, and serves as examplar for all subsequent editions." - Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol. IV, art.     This is the standard text of canon law for the whole Roman Catholic Church. Pope Gregory XIII wrote July 1, 1580, in his preface to this corrected edition: {1943 CE, FAFA 220.6}

    "We have demanded care in rejecting, correcting, and expurgating. . . . The Decree itself, without the glossae, exists now entirely freed from faults and corrected. . . . as much the one without the glossae as the entire one with the glossae . . . all recognized and approved . . . this body of canonical law firmly grounded and incorrupted according to this model printed at Rome by Catholic typographers. . . .     Of this corrected "Corpus," or canon law, "published in 1582 . . . by order of Gregory XIII," and established by his authority, we read: {1943 CE, FAFA 221.1}

    "The text of this edition, revised by the Correctores Romani, a pontifical commission established for the revision of the text of the 'Corpus Juris,' has the force of law." - Catholic Encyclopedia., Vol. IV, art. "Decretals, Papal," p. 672, par. 3. {1943 CE, FAFA 221.2}​

    Notice that this revised edition of canon law "has the force of law." In this canon law, which Pope Gregory XIII had corrected by "the plenitude of the apostolic power," so that it is "entirely freed from faults," we find the same statement:

    In "Corpus Juris Canonici Emendatum et Notis Illustratum Gregorii XIII. Pont. Max.," "Lvgdvn, MDCXXII" or "the Canon Law of Pope Gregory XIII, of 1622," with the Pope's own "Preface," in which he assures us of its being without flaw, we find the same:

    "Beatus Petrus in terris Vicarius Filii Dei esse videtur constitutus." - Column 295. {1943 CE, FAFA 221.5}​

    We cannot see how any consistent Catholic can deny the authenticity of this title without denying the infallibility of the pope. What more authority can they desire? {1943 CE, FAFA 221.6}

    Before going further let us apply the rule laid down in the Catholic Bible for counting the number of his name. It says: "The numeral letters of his name shall make up this number." - Note under Revelation 13: 18. In Bible times they did not use figures. We can still see on dials of old clocks, in numbers given above chapters in the Bible and in dates inscribed on cornerstones, certain numerical values given to some of the letters. In Latin, 1 stands for 1, V for 5, X for 10, L for 50, C for 100, D for 500, and M for 1,000. Originally we had no U, but V was used for U, and V is often used for U today on public buildings, such as "Pvblic Library," and our W is still written as a double V, not as a double U.

    The next Catholic authority we shall quote is F. Lucii Ferraris, who wrote "a veritable encyclopedia" in Latin, of which several editions have been printed by the papal church at Rome. The American Catholic Encyclopedia says of Ferraris's great work that it "will ever remain a precious mine of information." - Vol. VI, p. 48. From this unquestionable Catholic authority we shall first quote its Latin statement, and then give the English translation:

    "... Henry Edward Cardinal Manning of England, an extensive Roman Catholic writer, of high esteem in his church, applies the same title to the pope, only using it in its English translation. He says of the popes:

    "The temporal power in the hands of St. Gregory I was a fatherly and patriarchal rule over nations not as yet reduced to civil order. In the hands of St. Leo III it became a power of creating empires. In the hands of St. Gregory VII it was a scourge to chasten them. In the hands of Alexander III it was a dynasty, ruling supremely, in the name of God, over the powers of the world. . . .     The same year, this book was translated and published in Italian, with the sanction of the church attached to it. The title "Vicar of the Son of God" appears on pages 234 and 235 of that edition. {1943 CE, FAFA 223.3}

    Philippe Labbe, "a distinguished Jesuit writer on historical, geographical, and philological questions" (Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol. VIII, pp. 718, 719), in his historical work "Sacrosancta concilia ad regiam editionem exacta," Vol. I, page 1534 (Paris: 1671), uses 'Vicarius Filii Dei' as the official title of the pope. {1943 CE, FAFA 223.4}

    Coming down to our own times, we shall call to the witness stand a modern advocate of the Roman Catholic cause. Our Sunday Visitor, of Huntington, Ind., in its issue of April 18, 1915, gives clear testimony in this case. We quote it in full: {1943 CE, FAFA 223.5}

    "What are the letters supposed to be in the Pope's crown, and what do the signify, if anything? {1943 CE, FAFA 223.6}

    "The letters inscribed in the Pope's mitre are these: Vicarius Filii Dei, which is the Latin for Vicar of the Son of God. Catholics hold that the Church which is a visible society must have a visible head. Christ, before His ascension into heaven, appointed St. Peter to act as His representative. Upon the death of Peter the man who succeeded to the office of Peter as Bishop of Rome, was recognized as the head of the Church. Hence to the Bishop of Rome, as head of the Church, wag given the title 'Vicar of Christ.' {1943 CE, FAFA 223.7}

    "Enemies of the Papacy denounce this title as a malicious assumption. But the Bible informs us that Christ did not only give His Church authority to teach, but also to rule. Laying claim to the authority to rule in Christ's spiritual kingdom, in Christ's stead, is not a whit more malicious than laying claim to the authority to teach in Christ's name. And this every Christian minister does." - "Our Sunday Visitor," April 18, 1915, thirteenth question under "Bureau of Information," p. 3. {1943 CE, FAFA 224.1}​

    Later, when Roman Catholic authorities discovered that Protestants were making use of the foregoing statements to identify the Papacy with the antichristian power of Revelation 13: 18, they attempted to repudiate the contents of their former article. But that article was not written by some contributor to their paper; it appeared in the "Bureau of Information," for which the editorial staff was responsible. And on page two of that paper appeared sanctions for the editor from Pope Pius X, dated May 17, 1914; from the Apostolic Delegate, John Bonzano, dated April 27, 1913; and from J. H. Alerding, Bishop of Fort Wayne, Ind., dated March 29, 1912. If statements made under such high authorities are not trustworthy, we would respectfully ask if their present denials are any more so? {1943 CE, FAFA 224.2}

    To one versed in Catholic teaching and practice, there is nothing uncommon in such denials, where the interest of the Church is at stake. Cardinal Baudrillart's quotation on pages 64 and 245 of this book shows that some Catholic authors "ask permission from the Church to ignore or even deny" some historical facts, which they "dare not" face; and we read in "History of the Jesuits," by Andrew Steinmetz, Vol. 1, p. 13, that their accredited histories in common use, 'with permission of authority,' [are] veiling the subject with painful dexterity." - London: 1848. {1943 CE, FAFA 224.3}

    We shall here refer to one other similar denial. In the Roman Catholic paper, Shepherd of the Valley, there appeared an article by the editor, in which he stated: If Catholics ever attain, which they surely will, though at a distant day, the immense numerical majority in the United States, religious liberty, as at present understood, will be at an end." A Protestant lecturer, who made use of this quotation, was bitterly arraigned in a double-column front-page article in the Catholic Standard and Times for his false statements regarding Catholics; for, it pointed out, if he had finished the quotation with the words which followed, "so say our enemies," it would have reversed its meaning. The incident would have passed off at the expense of the Protestant lecturer, had not the Western Watchman of July 24, 1913, continued the quotation still further, declaring: {1943 CE, FAFA 225.1}

    "The whole quotation should read: 'If Catholics ever attain, which they surely will, though at a distant day, the immense numerical majority in the United States, religious liberty, m at present understood, will be at an end. So say our enemies; so say we."' - Quoted in "Protestant Magazine," October, 1913, p 474. {1943 CE, FAFA 225.2}​

    Why those who tried to deny their former statements should leave out the words, "so say we," is very evident. But what can we think of those who publicly deny facts to screen their church from unfavorable public opinions, unless they act from the motive that "the end justifies the means," and that "heretics " have no moral right to facts which they would misuse. (See also pages 64 and 65 of this book.) {1943 CE, FAFA 225.3}

    We shall therefore continue to believe that the editors of Our Sunday Visitor, in its issue of April 18, 1915, page three, were perfectly honest and well informed on the subject, and that the later denials are of the same class as those mentioned above. {1943 CE, FAFA 225.4}

    Our Sunday Visitor in the aforementioned quotation makes use of Vicarius Filii Dei and "Vicar of Christ" as synonymous terms, and Cardinal Manning does the same in his book, "Temporal Power of the Pope." It cannot, therefore, be maintained, as some do, that Vicarius Christi is the only mode of spelling used as the title of the pope, although the shorter rendering is used more often for brevity's sake. In fact Vicarius Christi is composite in its origin, Vicarius being Latin, while Christi is Latinized from the Greek. It would hardly seem probable that learned Romanists would adopt such a composite title to the exclusion of the pure, dignified, Latin title, Vicarius Filii Dei, which has been in use among them for centuries. {1943 CE, FAFA 226.1}

    Of late, Catholic apologists have argued that the "name of the beast " in Revelation 13: 17, 18 is a personal name of a single individual, such as Nero, and not the official title of a series of men, as that of the popes would be. But this would be entirely out of harmony with the context, for how could one man make war with God's people, and overcome them in every country, so that he would have power "over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations"? Revelation 13: 7. Then, too, that power was to continue forty and two months (v. 5), which those apologists claim to be literal. But how could one man accomplish such a world task in forty-two literal months?' {1943 CE, FAFA 226.2}

    These forty-two months are twelve hundred and sixty prophetic days (Revelation 11: 2, 3), and in prophecy a day stands for a year (Ezekiel 4: 6). (Even Catholics acknowledge that a day in prophecy stands for a year. See note under Daniel 9: 24-27 in the Douay Bible. Father Reaves says: "The prophet's weeks are, by all interpreters of the Holy Scriptures, understood to include years for days." - "Bible History," p. 345) The forty-two months, or twelve hundred and sixty days, of Revelation 13: 5 are therefore twelve hundred and sixty years, during which this power was to continue. But would not that period be quite a long time for one man to live? This attempt made by Roman apologists to screen the Papacy from being detected as the antichristian power of Revelation 13 appears too shallow to be seriously asserted by men who have made a thorough study of Bible prophecy. {1943 CE, FAFA 226.3} ..."

    Point 13, was indeed based in a misunderstanding of the way in which the reply was stated. However, before it could be fixed, the time limit on altering the post was over, and I personally reported the response, several days ago, attempting to get point 13 removed, but there was no response to do so.

    Thank you for pointing it out as well, as it reiterates to me to be more careful in posting, and in double checking before doing so.

    I am not, nor do I now claim, infallibility. That claim belongs to Romanism, documentation already cited, more if necessary. A very dangerous belief for sinners to have, for it means they will refuse to acknowledge their own wrong in belief, thus practice.

    I do hope you will concede I acknowledge point 13, as invalid, and you and I might address points 1-12, still being valid, and thus negating any Latin Gematria applying to sister White's English name, or to a singular woman for that matter. Perhaps you would like to address the other points now, and that which has been given since?

    As to the latter part of the reply, bringing up a non-sequitur subject, totally unrelated to the present topic, even an ad-hominem in the reply, among other things, is truly distraction. Feel free to bring up the subject in another separately created thread. It is generally rude to attempt a derail of a threads OP topic. I might join you if you create a separate thread, but please be ready to answer then, and I would hope you have something more substantial.

    Now, if you will please, address the evidences posted on topic, consider these things, for if you are presently Roman Catholic, you are in great danger.

    Sister Ellen G. White, is indeed a prophet[ess], but her functions included much more than the role of prophet, see: 1SM 32.4; etc.

    I have never hidden, buried, obscured (etc.) such information, but I am always open and free with it, even unashamedly so (since I believe it to be so of her, and with documentable evidences in abundance), even ready to fully document the facts from scripture [KJB], prophecy and history. In another thread of course, as the purpose of this thread is the fulfillment of the position of the pontiff, and the papal system and 666. If you would like to discuss sister White, please begin a new thread, and I may join you there, with much documented evidence.

    As for the words of prophets (other than Jesus Christ) being infallible, is very incorrect. In scripture [KJB], prophets (male or female) say and do all kinds of things which had to be corrected (by God, His word, etc), each case may be documented upon request, in another thread. This is not that thread, please see the OP topic.

    Sister White herself said, in several occasions, that she was not infallible:

    Letter 27, May 16, 1876, par. 3 -

    "... I wish that self should be hid in Jesus. I wish self to be crucified. I do not claim infallibility, or even perfection of Christian character. I am not free from mistakes and errors in my life. Had I followed my Saviour more closely, I should not have to mourn so much my unlikeness to His dear image. ..."
    Don't forget the context of that statement. Thank you.

    See also Letter 10, June 9, 1895, par. 6 also, sister White said of herself, "... In regard to infallibility, I never claimed it. ..."; and so on.
