    Okay.
    Okay.
The term refers to the mediatorial kingdom defined as “(a) the rule of God through divinely chosen representatives who not only speaks and acts for God but also represents people before God; (b) a rule which has special reference to the earth; and (c) having as its mediatorial ruler one who is always a member of the human race.”

The mediatorial kingdom is to be contrasted with the universal kingdom, the direct rule of God from heaven over all His creation. (#1 above).

Through creation originally, and now through physical birth, all of mankind is and will be under the universal rule of God. This is in contrast to the spiritual rebirth that is necessary for one to enter the mediatorial kingdom (John 3:3, 5).

The best work on the subject is probably "The Greatness of the Kingdom" by Alva J. McClain, former President of Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Indiana.

I can understand that thinking, however, did not the Scriptures warn that many will be deceive by the fakers?

Is it not wise to teach principles of discerning from Scriptures who is a fake, and how to recognize such?

One cannot expect the babes to run with trained athletes, but they may certainly emulate them, learn techniques and strategies from them.

If discernment is automatic, it would seem that there would not need to have Proverbs as part of Scriptures.

I think a part of the question that started this thread when boiled down is the biblical idea that false teachers and their followers are so terrible to God, that they deserve special enmity and judgment. Believers are not even to welcome, eat with, hang out with, give comfort and lodging to, follow, learn from, or warmly greet (a sin I commit far too much) such false teachers and their followers who are lost in disobedience to Jesus' commands. (Matthew 16:11-12) (Acts 20:28-30) (2 Peter 3:14-18) (Matthew 7:15-20) (Titus 1:9-11) (2 Peter 2) (Matthew 23:1-29) (Romans 16:17) (2 John 7-11) (Colossians 2:8) (1 Timothy 4:1-5) (2 Corinthians 11:13-5) and well these two websites really for future reference:

What Does the Bible Say About False Teachings?
14 Top Bible Verses About False Teachers - Scripture Warnings

    -EDIT-

The evidence is clear, those that hold onto doctrines that war against the commands of Jesus, as happens in so many denominations are just as bad as adulterers and murderers.

Not all called by that name in this modern time carry with them the seal of the Holy Spirit.

Only those who are believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are saved.

Do mor(m)on martyrs go to heaven?

Only if they're in the proper relationship with JESUS CHRIST, which they are not, if they fully embrace the mor(m)on cult.

Is it biblical to separate the wheat from the tares. Does anyone think if we get sidetracked and engage in unproductive ministry, we will not still enter heaven, perhaps as someone escaping as from a fire? We should ask the right questions, and not ignore scripture. God can have mercy on whom He pleases, even if their doctrine misses the mark. I expect to meet many a Catholic in heaven, in spite of their flawed doctrine. Lets not be like the Publican, thanking God he was not a Mormon, or Calvinist, or Arminian.

Mormons are clearly not Christians but polytheists because they think that they will be gods in the next world. They don't even believe in Heaven.

I would like to ask who these Mormon martyrs are? Are we talking about the adulterous polygamous Joe Smith with his perhaps 40 wives (some of whom were already married to other men and some of whom were sisters and some of whom were mother and daughter) who had a gun in jail and died in a gun battle with the mob because he ran out of ammunition first? Is that sex pervert the martyr that we are talking about?

The question arose when reading a reaction against Voice of the Martyrs by an online ministry. Voice of the Martyrs, a charity ministering to persecuted Christians, is very ecumenical and their ministry exalts persecuted Christians and those martyred no matter denomination as long as they identify as Christian. I used to be a huge fan of Voice of the Martyrs, but I saw some things done by them and Open Doors, another ministry to persecuted Christians, that clearly seemed wrong. For instance, Open Doors exalts those living in the Islamic World who hid everything about their faith, even to family and spouse, while claiming to be Muslim.

Now, the major problem immediately facing me was: "Do those giving a Gospel not in line with the bible go to heaven when they die for their faith? The overwhelming consensus in this thread, and would seem BB, is that this is a clear 'no.' Being sincerely wrong is not good enough, a living faith relationship with God and His Son Jesus, who we learn of mostly in the bible, is what is needed.

Thus, it seems that organizations that promote overseas missions through non-biblical organizations at all seem to be suspect, as I have learned from the people on this thread.

No, you did not answer my question in your post # 32. What I am asking is that exactly who you are calling a Mormon martyr, which you have never addressed. I specifically asked you if you were talking about the sex pervert Joe Smith who died in a gun fight in the Carthage, Illinois, jail when he ran out of ammo? Or are you talking about the murderer Brigham Young whom some people think was poisoned to death by one of his wives? Or are you talking about the Mormons responsible for the Meadows Massacre? Just who are these Mormon martyrs by name that you are talking about?

I am sorry, I should have thought about my thread title more. In actuality, I picked no one specific, but I would certainly rule out Mormons dying for crime or intrigue. What I meant was Mormons who live overseas and are persecuted and even murdered for their faith. Maybe there are none, but I doubt that. I mean the Roman Catholics have martyrs, and they corrupt the Gospel as much as the Mormons.

Roman Catholics are Christian but Mormons are cultic. I don't know of any Mormon martyrs but they have had tens of thousands of satyrs.

Roman Catholics are decidedly not Christian.

    1. They claim to be the Mother Church that all other churches derive any legitimacy from at all because we ride their coattails to them.
    2. They are not against saying that the eternity of Protestants will be painful because they are so in error. (remember they believe in purgatory)
    3. All of those I have talked to downright hate baptist beliefs and think we are terrible sinners doomed to some sort of terrible judgment after death
    4. They violate clear teachings of the bible that identify themselves as false Christians They violate so much I'll just refernce you to this website, even just picking out the bible verses and ignoring the analysis shows that Roman Catholic clergy are false teachers (21 Important Bible Verses About The Catholic Church)

Really #4 alone on such a consistent basis is all I need to say. They teach a Jesus of the Church. This Jesus is not the Jesus of the bible to nearly anyone who would disagree with Roman Catholic clergy.
