However, this is not the only issue that the Kabbalist would have to address. Let's see some difficulties they would have to overcome:

[1] The additional “ן) נ) Nun”, as either 'final' (700), or not (50).

[2] The transliteration from Latin to Syriac/Aramaic [Hebrew], and using an Hebrew Gematria, rather than a Latin one on the original Latin name, which would only total to '100'. Revelation was written in Koine Greek [by John the Apostle on the Isle of Patmos], speaking about the Roman [Latin] element [Iron, Daniel 2 & 7 KJB, etc.] of Revelation 13:1-8 KJB? Why is not a Greek, or even a Latin, Gematria used, instead of an Syriac/Aramaic [Hebrew]?:

Not only are two differing Gematria's used in combination, a Greek [for the name] and a Latin [for the number], but a very rare spelling of Vespasian at that, in combination with a first reignal year marker? He reigned for about 10 years [AD 69 – AD 79]. Vespasian would also fail for all of the same basic reasons [points [3-7]] previously given for the Emperor Nero, except that he [Vespasian] would be the 10th Caesar [beginning with Julius], and 9th Augustus [beginning with Gaius Octavius].

The “IA” [for a woman] is assumed, or guessed at, by translators of the Nag Hammadi document since it is damaged in two areas, specifically, line 2 (front) and line 15 (back). If the person is not a woman, but rather a man, it could be Proter[ios], the “ios” (10 + 70 + 200 = 280), altering the Gematria, to '935'. The Nag Hammadi document does not suggest this name for the Gematria, but is simply included in this present study, or listing, as a transposed “I Protera” - whatever that is supposed to mean.

However, when the Hebrew Gematria is considered, the name [Balaam] of itself does not in any way come to the '666' total (see below; “= 142 (with final, 702)”):

Therefore, those unscrupulous Kabbalists that are purposefully manipulating individual letters, to arrive at the conclusion they pre-desired, take this opportunity to point out that if a single “ו”, “vau” makes no difference between the meaning of the 3 texts in the Hebrew name “Beor”, why cannot the “ו”, “vau” of Joshua 13:22 HOT in the name of “בעור”, “Beor” be removed, or ignored, or instead simply combine both sets of phrases, ignoring the “בעור” of Joshua 13:22 HOT, utilizing only the spelling of the Hebrew “Beor” from Numbers 24:3,15 HOT. This would effectively alter the phrase to be counted from:

to [altered, nowhere to be found in scripture [HOT] version 1.0]:

This would not be enough in and of itself, so two other steps must be taken. The first would be to ignore the difference between the “בנו” of Numbers 24:3,15 HOT and the “בן” of Joshua 13:22 HOT. The Kabbalists already 'justified' the negation of one “ו”, “vau” and would not want to draw attention to this difference, as it would counter-act, their purpose and add back one “ו”, “vau”.

Furthermore, an additional “ו”, “vau” from “הקוסם”, “soothsayer” must also then be removed, or ignored in Joshua 13:22 HOT, as there are still too many letters, or values and the numerical pre-destination of '666' would not be achieved. The “ה He [Psalms 119:33-40] = 5” would also have to be removed or ignored. The justification, for the change of leaving out the “ו”, “vau”, and “ה”, “He” would come from the variant spellings of the word:

The Kabbalist would only desire the 3 root letters “קסם”, “Koph, Samech, Mem”.

The special pleading that must be done, is to then finally discount the 'final' values of at least three words, and only count them with their endings as 'non-final' numbers (and the justification for this? I think it's “thumb-nology” [citing Professor Walter J. Veith]):
