Never trust Bannon over Trump again

    Had a bad feeling tonight. Trump wanted Luther Strange, and Bannon really pushed for Moore. He was a terrible candidate even apart from the media smear. I wish him luck and hope he sues his false accusers, but the lesson learned is, trust Trump. His political instincts are better than Bannon's or the entire Breitbart staff.

    I am also against credibly accused sexual predators. Glad I sent a donation to the Jones campaign.

    As he should have. Moore, unlike you, was pro-life and would have helped in the battle. But Trump urged voters to go for Luther Strange in the runoff. His instincts were right on.

    And I noticed you're dodging the pro-life issue like the plague.

    The silver lining might be, it's a limited term. 2 years and we'll get this seat back along with a couple others.

    I have been voting since 1974 and I don’t vote, or root for candidates, based on cultural issues.

    Were they? I dunno. But Trump backed Strange, and it appears his instincts were right. Moore got rolled. Didn't mount a good defense. His spox holes were atrocious. He was an all around bad candidate. His interview with Hannity probably sunk him. If he is innocent, I would expect him to file a lawsuit against yearbook lady.

    The good news is, it's a short term for Jones. 2 years we'll get it back.

    Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!
