You misunderstood me. Can you prove to me that they did not hear about Jesus Christ the Lord?

How can you believe upon Him whom you have not heard?[Romans 10:14]

My pastor loaned me a book a while back written by C.I. Scofield that was titled "Prophecy made plain". In it he wrote that at that time, ~ 1900 AD, there were over 800,000 ppl who had not heard the gospel. In Turkey, my pastor told me this(and he ain't no Calvinist, either), it is against the law to be a christian. Last summer a Gideon came and said that over a billion ppl in India have not heard the gospel. And he's not a Calvinist, either.

There have been many died, never knowing about the Christ. Anyone would be foolish to say everyone w/o exception has heard the gospel.

When faced with the reality of what I posted, those who object to God's sovereignty in election must come up with some very creative and unbiblical ideas. For instance, you are posing that men who live in places with no churches, no Bibles, and no missionaries have ALL heard the proclamation of the gospel. That's trying to pull a rabbit out of your hat.

God does not zap men saved. He uses *means* to accomplish His will in the saving of His elect. He uses the preaching of the Word, by men. Christ gave the Great Commission, to "go". It would make no sense to tell men to go if magically people all over the Earth already heard the gospel of Christ.

Romans 10:14 answers you well: "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" (ESV)

Yes. The number of people who have lived and died without hearing the gospel would easily total in the billions.

Yes, that person fails to do the will of God.
We don't automatically do the will of God. We have a new heart and God's Spirit in us, but we still struggle with the flesh. The difference is the work of God in us, convicting us of sin, and God's discipline. God disciplines those who are saved for not doing His will.
No, they are not "preventing" or "thwarting" the will of God. They are not doing His will. Regardless, His will is going to be accomplished.

They don't realize that they're the anti-missions bunch. If God can get the gospel to them w/o using ppl, then why waste our $ funding missions? We get accused of hyper-Calvinism, and they're the ones guilty of it. O O

True. We say that God uses the means of preaching and proclaiming, and they argue there is no need for it.

I don't blame these people because they have been taught nothing else but decisional evangelism for their entire lives. They have had pastors reinforce the idea that men, not God, are in the driver's seat. They even have a bumper sticker which conveys it for the world to see: "Jesus is my co-pilot".

    An explanation of decisional evangelism:

A member on here once went so far to say that there were 'reports'(amazing how these 'reports' are devoid of proof) that in a tribe in Africa, Jesus Himself, showed up to them and a revival broke out. O O

How unbiblical ppl will go to support their universalism. O O :(

If they are pressed by the reality of the texts and history, they do get very creative. They have to. The only other option is to become one of us deceived and devilish Calvinists. ;)

Nope, you guys are being intellectually dishonest OR ignorant.

I asked a simple question. Can you prove that they never heard about Christ? Or were never Given the opportunity to believe?

    Yes or no?

It's an absolutely ridiculous question, and I have answered it, in spite of that. See post #24

If I can prove that even one person has not heard the name of Jesus, let alone His gospel, then my point will have been proven.

Right, so you cannot prove it. So why lay baseless claims?

You can't be serious. Is that how you address this issue? You make things up? Is that intellectually honest, mature, or responsible? Reality stands in the way of your delusion. Don't bump your head on it.

Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.

See, your theological framework interpreted that text for you instead of doing sound exegetical work to discover the Truth in that text.
