    Actually the saints are alive. And much of my mental health was healed through devotion to them.

    If you experienced the healing that I have, you would do the same thing, you would do what works

    Lazarus was taken to Abraham's bosom. Abraham is alive and well. In the Book of Revelation the Saints in heaven are seen praying for the Saints on Earth and praying for vengeance for their martyrdom.

    No, actually, they're dead. In fact, your own Catholic Church records many of them as having been martyred.

    [Nasty personal attack edited.]

    Maybe you should read that verse again. V 22 says, "The poor man (Lazarus) died".

    It also says that there is a gulf between life and death that cannot be crossed.

    But we're not talking about saints praying. We're talking about your pagan practice of praying to the saints.

    The Rosary is not only used in Catholic and near catholic sects, but also in Islam and Buddhist religions and probably in many other pagan religions.

    The reason Marian devotion is so popular is because of the Miracles that are linked to it. This miracle was promised in advance and witnessed by up to 70,000 people, many of them Communists and Freemasons who converted over it.

    The Seers also predicted the coming of World War 2 and the rise of Communism in Russia and the spread of Communism throughout the world

    The apparitions were also witnessed by President Gamal Abdel Nasser,[5] and captured by newspaper photographers and Egyptian television. Investigations performed by the police could find no explanation for the phenomenon. No device was found within a radius of fifteen miles capable of projecting the image, while the sheer number of photographs from independent sources suggests that no photographic manipulation was involved. Having been unable to produce an alternative explanation for the luminous sightings, the Egyptian government accepted the apparitions as true.[6]

    The Lady of Guadalupe image was left on Juan Diego's tilma. Scientists cannot determine how the image got there and it was definitely not a painting. The miraculous image led to the conversion of the Aztecs and South America

    Well according to Individual Soul Liberty you probably are a Baptist but not in my book.

    Not that it really matters - who am I?

    Roman Catholic saints are not saints in the biblical sense as every true christian is a saint. Roman saints often didn't exist and if they did were no way Christians, Roman saints occupy the same place in their religion as the demigods in the Pantheon. The pantheon had a god for everything and as we read in the scripture gods were territorial, over cities and states. Just as Roman saints are territorial, Every town on village in France, for instance, has its own Patron saint. When their saint has his day they have a Fête Patronale

    So, let me get this straight: You don't affirm any of the Baptist distinctives, you don't hold to orthodoxy on a number of Christian doctrines, you believe Catholic doctrines, you make Catholic arguments, tell the same Catholic lies, and registered here with your religion as "seeking Christ", but now you're telling us you're a Baptist?

    Did you know that the Bible says that the Lord hates a lying tongue?

    Yes. Every Christian believes in the competence of Christ to keep that which has been given to Him.

    I'm not telling anyone I'm a Baptist. "This Baptist" was referring to the link

    A) your post contradicts scripture

    B) I worship God and believe there is only one God, therefore I'm not Pagan

    C) your complete disregard for who scripture says is saved, shows you don't follow the Doctrine you profess to cherish

    D) you might want to consider putting me on ignore if you don't feel these discussions are a good use of your time. Just a thought

    IMO OSAS is a poor representation of what ETERNAL salvation is all about.

    But I know what you are asking, so yes OSAS - unending eternal life and that more abundantly.

    Or God saw that his mother could bring a lot of people to prayer and repentance , and that is why he let her appear to so many people.

    The church noticed lots of miracles and apparitions were from Mary, so had councils of church leaders pray and investigate the matter and determined she was indeed serving the world as an intercessor. How do you know those councils weren't inspired by God? It is Biblical that what God doesn't do at one time in history, he does at another.

    God can do whatever he wants to.

    The rosary not only comes from pagan sources, but it's in direct violation against Jesus' command to not chant repetitious prayers repeatedly, without not even thinking about its words as one chants them. Prayer beads are also from pagan practices.

    B). No you don't you believe that Mary and the saints and other demigods can help you.

    The Jews in the old testament tried mixing worship of God with pagan practices and were condemned for that,

    In the new testament when people became Christians they burnt their pagan books and idols. If you are a christian you will do so as well. Christ is the only mediator between God and man. He will not share his glory.,

    • 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
    The Romans love their other gods and images, so that is why miss the following commandment out:
    • Exodus 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
    • 3Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
    • 4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
    • 5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

    Incense is also used by Pagans as well as animal sacrifice and graven images... Yet God approved of such things... Not all practices found in pagans are bad
