    Flashback-- National Institute of Justice: Federal 'Assault Weapons' Ban Did Not Reduce Crime | Breitbart


    As the federal “assault weapons” ban was about to expire in 2004, the Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice (NIJ) reported that the ban could not be credited with any reduction in crime.
    The Washington Times quoted University of Pennsylvania professor Christopher Koper, author of the NIJ report, saying, “We cannot clearly credit the ban with any of the nation’s recent drop in gun violence. And, indeed, there has been no discernible reduction in the lethality and injuriousness of gun violence.”


    GQ added, “The Democrat staffers who wrote the now-expired 1994 federal assault weapon ban knew it was a largely symbolic policy.”

    There is no argument for banning either rifles or handguns in the U.S. It would be unconstitutional.
    Period.

    What our brothers on the other side of the pond don't understand is that the socialist's ultimate goal here is total confiscation of all firearms from the U.S. citizenry, and THAT is an impossibiliy! Absolutely unrealistic pipedream. Will never happen.

    Oh, it will happen!

    IMHO, as soon as the shock of the rapture is defused (a week max) the left will have total control of the gov't & the very first edict will be confiscation of ALL firearms so they can impose their satanic agenda pronto!

    Do Liberals read the Bible? If so, how do they miss the fact that Cain killed Abel with a rock (he didn't have a gun)? How do they miss the fact that Jesus said murder begins in the heart? How do the read thousands of years of human history and think that people are good, "deep down inside"? How do they imagine "education" can stop sin?

    What the socialist/communist/totalitarians ultimately want is total domination and the elimination of Christianity and they know widespread gun ownership is a huge obstacle to achieving their goal. They won't rest until the last gun is confiscated.
