If he is misinformed and you would like to pray that God would open his eyes, then the best way for you to do that is to take the OP point by point and refute it on a Scriptural basis. If you can do that, then I am sure you "can open his eyes."

    Oh, you have no clue of the so called "love" of the False cult of pentecostalism, that I have experienced since the week after easter of 2004.

    Man, If that's love, give me Hate anyday! :eek: :rolleyes: [IMG] [IMG]
    </font>
So let me ask you this. Do you pray for the Pentecostals? Do you get on your knees and ask The Lord to reveal His truth to them? Do you pray that the Lord would bring conviction to their hearts and show them the truth. Or do you just simply cast angry dispersions at them? :rolleyes: I tell you what if you agree, I'll join you in prayer. [IMG]

    Do I pray for them? All the time. But most of them are born into it, and won't come out.
    [IMG] But, just as well, one must always hope. [IMG]

    </font>
What happened? Do share. :confused:
    </font>
Music,

    I've said enough in public forum. most of what all happened, I already posted above. except for that fact the Pastor of the Church Faxed every assembly of god church in the area, telling of my departure. and accusing me falsly of a bunch of stuff. I've got copies of that too. Anyhow... I'd rather keep the rest private, there's alot more. but, I don't feel telling it all in here is the right thing to do.

    I WILL say this, as of a result of this, I have made my mind up about Pentecostalism! I DO NOT Believe in the "speaking in tongues" doctrine! I DO NOT Believe in modern day prophecy! I DO NOT Believe in the laying on of hands or the supposed healings.. Why? You ask? Because it's all a bunch of FAKE CRAP that's why!!!!

    However, I DO Believe that Benny Hinn is a jesuit plant, by the catholic church, that REPLACED Kathryn Kuhlman when she died. To cause confusion in the Church and blind babes in christ.

    Anyone who doubts this should read a book called "Blinded By Benny" by Greg Locke Found here It gets into the details of his ministry and false beliefs.

    Anyhow... One day, I shall write my own book, and trust me, it's gonna set the Baptist Church and the pentecostal church on it's ear. whenever the Lord opens the doors. [IMG]

    Atestring,

    I also recommend the Bible as well. But pentecostals take and distort the Bible and most of them don't even know how to read it, they think EVERYTHING in the Bible is for today, and that's just simply not true. In fact, in the hands of the unlearned, the Bible can be a very deadly tool, just ask Jim Jones.

    I have watched Benny Hinn on T.V. a few times and been to some pentacost services in my day and they dont go by the scripture. Speaking in tounges is an acctual gift of the holy spirit say I needed to witness to a french man but didnt know french the holy spirit would come on me and allow me to speak and understand french.
    speaking in tounges isnt allibababahtiughtrenhaol then passout in the floor and go into convulsions and everyone else do the same. I will need to read the scripture for myself regarding weather or not the gifts have ended. I cant say I recall of the top of my head.

    Benny Hinn is a fraud he has made many false prophecies, he even said Christ has already return in human form and walks among us today.

    "Religion" is bad "Bad Doctrine" is even worse
    and all roads that arent of Christ lead to Hell.

    I would have thought some of you ministers would have read in the Bible about other men of God falling out 'under the power of the Holy Spirit,' or as some use the term, 'slain in the Spirit.'

    Read Acts 9:4 & Revelation 1:17a are the two that I am reminded of--off the top of my head.

    Those who condemn the work of the Holy Spirit are on very dangerous ground. We are warned against 'grieving the Holy Spirit or quenching the Spirit of God.'

    And the Jesuit spin is about the most absurd thing I have ever read. Rev. Hinn was Jewish by nationality before he got saved. Your mind is overworking . . . . Now you want us to believe that the Roman Catholich Church has planted him within Protestantism. Wow!! And maybe Ben Laden is an Russian Orthodox priest. You probably will buy this too!

    Geeezz... idiotic drivel... :rolleyes:

    First off, your references are totally off base.

    In acts 9:4, Paul fell to the earth, BECAUSE HE WAS BLINDED! Not because the Holy Spirit knocked him down... if you lost your sight, you would fall down too! DUH! [IMG] :rolleyes:

    And... Revelation 1:17, He fell at his feet as dead, Notice it said, fell at his Feet, (as in face down) He didn't get "slain in the Spirit" he was falling at the feet of the Lord in Worship! What poor use of the Word of God to defend a False Doctrine.. you better try better than that man, because that's just plain wrong. :mad:

    How simple can people be!??!?! :confused: :rolleyes: [IMG]

    Ah memories...Matthew, Ray and I had similar discussion on BB about a thousand years ago :eek: :D

    Will just throw in here a quick true story I've heard since then on scripture interpretation by one's own experiences. The pastor taught the charismaniac health and wealth junk "Christians don't get sick etc etc"...Until he got sick...then it was a very quick change of teaching and Church rules... :rolleyes:

    In Mark 9:38-40 our Lord warns against bickering against other groups who are serving Him.

    I notice the religious bigot types did not respond to my former post.

    I am sure that some people who are members of a 'high church' type of worship and other groups would have problems with a Pentecostal preacher 'casting out demons' from a sinner who is in bondage.

    If you trust the Gospel of Mark, Jesus had no problem with this kind of ministering under His banner and Kingdom.

    Anyone who believes and trusts Jesus as Savior and as being Divine, is my brother and sister in Christ.

    What a wonderful thing for one christian brother to say to another.

    The word of God...

    "By this all we know that you are my disciples, by your love one towards another."

    "But above all things put on love, which is the bond of perfection"

    Sadly,

    Mike

    And we wonder why people are lost and in sin and without Christ. We cant even agree on the truth or what the truth is or who knows what about this that and the other its sad.

    If your beliefs go against the word of God there wrong its that simple.

    Part of the problem in Protestantism is some people get saved, grab a Bible and think they can preach and teach.

    I don't understand something. I see some people coming down on MH, DHK, etc., saying they are wrong, but have yet to try to refute one piece of the evidence. I then see aestring say we need the Bible. I am confused, didn't the OP content come from the Bible? I too was saved from this movement. The Bible opened my eyes. I will pray with the others on this board that the truth will be heard. God bless.
