    Americans began their day Tuesday with reports of another school shooting. The incident occurred early in the morning, just after classes had begun. This time, though, as the ATF and FBI were mobilizing their response, word spread that the suspected gunman was met by armed resistance. The school’s resource officer had taken him down.

    Nikolas Cruz.

    The "gun lobby" wasn't the reason Cruz saw several counselors, who each should have reported him, thus adding him to the background check list, which would have prevented him from legally obtaining weapons -- BUT THEY DIDN'T.

    The "gun lobby" wasn't the reason the FBI were notified more than once that Cruz was a threat, BUT THEY DIDN'T act upon those notifications.

    The "gun lobby" wasn't the reason an armed resource officer should have stopped the threat, BUT HE DIDN'T.

    Please explain how the gun lobby has *any* blood on its hands.
