I vote, but unless people look up my voter registration, they do not know my party affiliation. So I can speak to all and treat all equally.

“To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.” (1 Corinthians 9:22–23) (KJV 1900)

“For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” (1 Corinthians 2:2) (KJV 1900)

“But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.” (1 Corinthians 4:3–5)

If politics is not worldliness, nothing is.

Anyways. It’s cool with me that you think I’m a carnal political worldliness guy.

    I think you’re a complete fraud.

Ah. So now pro-life is worldly. Wondering what you'll say next.

But make no mistake, you are political.

I think you misunderstand my position, or perhaps we misunderstand each other. But worldliness is not dancing, and smoking cigarettes as much as it is how we think.

No, thinking like the world is worldliness.

So now being pro-life is thinking like the world. How deep will you dig?

Not really, I vote for the least bloodshed and sometimes one party favors this over another.

I'd say 60 million babies since RvW wins the bloodshed contest, don't you? Or do you not count the unborn?

To an extent, but why do you align with them who are not consistently pro life, and not Christ who is consistently pro life?

I was curious how far you'd go. Now you're saying being pro-life is anti-Christian. I think you've overplayed your hand.

Not necessarily. Some years abortion rated decline, while death rates from war increase. So it is whatever is least in a given time frame. But you have both abortion and unjust wars in your portfolio.

This is a false charge. Christ is always pro-life, but political parties kill many innocents even if the spare the unborn.

Ahhhh. Now we're getting somewhere. You don't vote pro-life. That's why you want politics out of the conversation.

I had this suspicion from the beginning. Most who are apolitical are not truly apolitical. They are politically liberal and since that's doesn't fly in the Christian community, they try to suppress political thought.

    I think I'm done.

What makes more Christian sense? Voting for the overall least amount of innocent bloodshed, or voting to lessen only some of the innocent bloodshed?

    First, that's Utilitarian ethics.

Second, neoliberals and neo-cons are not so very far apart.
