This is who I would like to see the Democrats nominate in 2020. I prefer governors who have administrative experience over senators and representatives.

"Gov. Steve Bullock will visit New Hampshire on Aug. 24 as part of his stops to early-voting states this month as he explores a possible 2020 presidential bid.

Matt McKenna, spokesman for Bullock's Big Sky Values Political Action Committee, told the Associated Press on Tuesday the Democratic governor will visit the Granite State.

The governor is expected to appear at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. He’s part of the Des Moines Register's “Political Soapbox” and is scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. Aug. 16."

Is governor dipping toe in presidential waters?

Not any different than what I said in 2014 in a statewide televised debate when I ran for Congress in Arkansas' Fourth Congressional District as the nominee of the Libertarian Party when answering questions about infrastructure and farm spending. On infrastructure I cited President Monroe's veto of an infrastructure bill in 1817 where he explained that the Congress did not have the constitutional power to do it. On farming I cited President Cleveland's veto of the "Texas Seed Bill" in 1887 where he also explained that Congress did not have the constitutional power to do it(BTW, I think Cleveland was our last great president based on adhering to the rigors of the U.S. Constitution). I am not opposed to such spending but the Founding Fathers clearly intended the states to handle such. States were to be the innovators of government programs and then could borrow ideas from each other ideas that are found to work. Unfortunately, after Cleveland left office, it has been all downhill as far as adherence to the constitution is concerned. I wish we could go back to such strict adherence but I seriously doubt that the American people are willing to elect a Josiah as president.

Prediction, barring anything not known right now appearing, trump will be re elected pretty easily, as Dems will run a socialist, and will have failed solutions to offer!
