    Catholic News Service Press Release:

"A representative of the media company owned by Father John Corapi challenged the action to place the popular speaker on administrative leave from priestly ministry, saying that it was illicit under "several points of canon law."

Bobbi Ruffatto, vice president of operations at Santa Cruz Media, Inc., in Kalispell, Mont., charged in a posting on Father Corapi's Facebook page March 25 that Bishop William M. Mulvey of Corpus Christi, Texas, acted improperly, according to canon lawyers consulted by the company."

I don't know much about Roman Catholic Priests, but are they supposed to own their own Media Companies?
I thought that that was more for "preachers" like Joel Osteen.

I was born again when I finally left the Roman Catholic Church. Another way to put it is that because I was born again, I left the Roman Catholic Church.
I left the Roman Catholic Church once I understood Rome's errors. Biblical Christianity and Romanism are incompatible. My understanding of theology was in its infantile stages, but I knew enough that I had to go where the Word of God was taught.

The issue of baptism. Try as I may, I could never find a warrant for paedobaptism in scripture. Presbyterians form their belief on baptism from good and necessary consequence and the continuity of a covenant (the Abrahamic Covenant) that ended with Christ.

They just didn't know how to respond to you. You believe in a particular interpretation of Scripture as other Christian sects have theirs, so in the end who really has the correct one? We believe in orthodox Christianity and you don't - it's that simple.

I don’t know either. Some might say he was a rogue priest, but we are not given all the facts so I can’t comment. He did attempt a website called Black Sheep Dog ... I guess to confront certain issues but that was taken down. This shroud of secrecy is all to common in that church.

Orthodox!?! That is curious paring. I will be honest, I have never seen the RCC as Orthodox. Conversely I persieve Steve to be a gospel literalist. His attempt to interact with Catholics would always be thwarted because he interprets the Gospel in close ended manner not with any type of metaphor.

Right, so they ban me. Not for being rude, but for challenging their doctrines.

If you went into the ‘Presbyterians r Us’ forum and challenged their doctrine you’d get Bounced too. They don’t want confrontation. Seriously you should be happy that B.B. is willing to challenge because it broadens your understanding of people’s beliefs ... Oorah!

I never ever asked you to be silent. This is after all a discussion board. I will put forward my views which are Catholic and you put forth your views which I guess is Reformed. I never expected you to agree with me. As is clear from my previous post.

People challenge Catholic doctrine all the time on Catholic boards and are not banned. One only need to visit the sites to see for yourself. Declaring Catholics to be apostates/pagans as you do on this board would get you banned as I would be banned here if I decided to declare evangelicals apostate/pagan. I remember Johndeerefan (long time member of this board) going to Catholic.com to mock and belittle Catholics. They gave him every opportunity to post sans name-calling. Guess what! He couldn't help himself himself and was eventually banned

I am happy. Are you following the conversation? That was the complaint, that Catholic forums don’t tolerate challenges to doctrine. The B.B. does.

No kidding Steve but you gotta realize that there are tons of different faiths floating around this earth and not everyone is as tolerant. There was a time in my life anyway when we Americans would respect other faiths and especially if they went to church, temple etc... they practiced, they believed and that was enough. Today it seems we have become intolerant. Now if one wants to start questioning the validity of another’s faith, frankly you should be bounced because you are questioning their salvation. Isn’t it better to realize that other faiths can also find God, get saved in other church’s, celebrate God’s Grace and be happy for them. If you want to proselytize, go and find non believers and show them the good news of the gospel. It’s the job of the HS after that.

What are you talking about..."other faiths"? The Christian faith is the ONLY faith that saves.

There is only one, the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jesus Christ, the Spirit of God.

Same thing Jesus and the Apostles told them.

Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

    1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

    What do you tell them?

Paul loved them so much he even would give his own salvation for them if that were possible.

Rom 9:3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
