BREAKING: President Trump Directs Dan Coats (DNI), Jeff Sessions (DOJ) and Christopher Wray (FBI) To Declassify Documents and Release Unredacted Text Messages…

"...WHITE HOUSE – At the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency, the President has directed the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to provide for the immediate declassification of the following materials: (1) pages 10-12 and 17-34 of the June 2017 application to the FISA court in the matter of Carter W. Page; (2) all FBI reports of interviews with Bruce G. Ohr prepared in connection with the Russia investigation; and (3) all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all Carter Page FISA applications.

In addition, President Donald J. Trump has directed the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to publicly release all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr. (LINK)

The president (WH counsel) is referencing “committee requests”, this is critical because it removes the legal conflict (executive self-interest) within the release; and makes the request a function of legislative branch oversight. Additionally, and importantly, the request calls for all of the prior text messages to be released without redactions...."

...wonder how long they'll drag their feet on this or even if they might refuse to do it?

We'll see what the deep state does now. Will they simply disobey, stall , or both?

The corruption here runs a lot deeper than DOJ and FBI personnel:

"...How likely is it that James Wolfe leaked that FISA application at the request of Senators on the SSCI (Senate Select Committee on Intelligence)? Remember his defense?

"Attorneys for James A. Wolfe sent letters to all 15 senators on the committee, notifying them that their testimony may be sought as part of Mr. Wolfe’s defense, according to two people familiar with the matter." (link)

So what this looks like is an intentional effort within the SSCI (See Mark Warner, Adam Waldman, et al) to create a process to ensure the FISA surveillance warrant was extended in 2017. This renewal was critical; it was part of the insurance policy being executed. Remember Adam Waldman, the guy text messaging with Mark Warner, lying to Chuck Grassley to avoid giving testimony to congress?

    See the big picture?

    See the scale of corruption?

Corruption this deep explains why James Wolfe was not charged with the leaking of highly classified intelligence, and only given the much lesser charge of lying to the FBI about the leaking. Also, remember throughout the 2016 election Senator Dianne Feinstein was a Gang-of-Eight member and Vice-Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee."

This is an excellent and in depth article explaining why this declassification will likely not go smoothly:

Robert Mueller Delays Flynn Sentencing, yet again, Until After The Election – November 28th…

"Special counsel Robert Mueller really, really, r.e.a.l.l.y doesn’t want to sentence former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn for lying prior to the release of the of the unredacted text messages and the IG Report on FISA abuse.

Nothing would be more devastating for Mueller’s political objectives than to sentence General Flynn – and then have the nature of an entrapment scheme exposed. Hence yet another incredulous delay (this is the fifth delay):...."

If they are not compliant in releasing these materials it will justify their firing and any attempted claim of obstruction over the firing would unavoidably be in blatant hypocrisy. Glad to see the President use his authority against these out of control rogue political operatives and hope they give him the excuses he needs to clean house.

They blatantly display their hypocrisy daily.

I keep wondering what took him so long to do it?

Understandable, but if he waits to be assured of NO criticism from dims, he may as well go back to NY and resume his real state deals, as there is no way the "desired" situation will ever be for at least the next 6 years +/-!!

True. I think he can still increase his base by his actions.

IMO, There are many undecided independents, Libertarians, and some Democrats (non progressives), etc. to be convinced that he is our best hope for America's future.

As folks see his ordeal and the unfair hatred and the venomous wrath against him and his appointees they will come over.

If we disregard the potential of voter fraud, the next election should virtually destroy the dims. :DevilishUnfortunately, we cannot disregard the very real possibility of voter fraud!
    But one can dream anyway.Confused

We have had several cases of voter fraud prosecuted here in the RGV.

A federal judge formally dismissed the lawsuit challenging the Texas voter ID law yesterday.

It is over. All voters in Texas must present a valid government issued photo ID in order to vote in Texas.

Wouldn't it be funny if Strzok and McCabe tried to destroy incriminating documents and were caught? I understand there was a sting and they fell right into the trap and are both absolutely nailed.

Wouldn't that be a hoot if true?

The Democrats are squirming at this news. Now they are saying President Trump is "exceeding his authority" and saying he is causing a "great danger to the nation". If things are true to what happened before, we will find out that most of the redactions had no national security implications and they will show that the government officials were lying. I can't wait!

I honestly think some deep state Dems and FBI should be tried for treason.
