The Vatican has always worked tirelessly to keep their bishop's crimes and sins secret from their parishioners and from the world. The Pope is not angry over the sex abusers, but rather has turned his anger towards them being exposed, blaming Satan for trying to destroy the "chosen" men of God by revealing their abuses of little children ( a bit strange, calling child molesters "men of God"). But the LORD declares if you sin against him, "be sure your sin will find you out." (Num 32:22) It is not Satan who has done this, it is the LORD Mr. Pope. You would think a Pope would know the bible.

"In these times, Pope Francis said, it seems like the devil, "the great accuser, has been let loose and he's got it in for the bishops. True, there are, we are all sinners, we bishops."

The great accuser "seeks to reveal sins, which people can see, in order to scandalize the people" of God, he said in his homily during morning Mass at Domus Sanctae Marthae."

Satan is attacking bishops; they must fight with prayer, pope says

This is undeniable proof that the pope has no Spiritual discernment.

While Satan is behind all evil, that claim is no excuse to not do a complete and comprehensive investigation into all this stuff. From the Pope on down, no one can be exempt from being looked into. If Pope Francis thinks he can sweep the sex abuse issue and the homosexual groups that exist within the Church under the rug he is badly mistaken. Many Bishops here in America are clamoring for a through investigation into everything and there will be a ruckus from them if one is not followed through.

If it wasn't for worldwide outrage, wouldn't the blind be content to follow their supremely blind unspiritual leader until they all fall into the pit?

No bishop that wants to keep his job in the Catholic Church is free to say that the pope needs to step down because of indisputable spiritual blindness, for the good of the church.

Actually there was an interesting article on some of the dynamics that Bishops face. For example, the last time a sex scandal was addressed, part of the solution was to transfer the responsibility to investigate and the authority to remove accused priests to the Vatican. This means that a Bishop in the US is technically powerless to remove a priest completely, only Rome has that authority. Since Rome only recognizes a 5 year window on accusations, most molestations cannot even be investigated.

The other side of this coin is a decision that anyone deliberately embarrassing the RCC is guilty of a crime against the church, so a Bishop not only cannot remove a pedaphile priest from the Church, but if he makes the matter public, he will be guilty of a crime that could remove him from the church.

The article concluded with a call for reform in policy to start at the Vatican. The bishops are literally trapped between conflicting vows and powerless to act.

Why would satan wantto turn light on this issue, would he not much more prefer that those vile sexual pervisions keep on being condoned in private?

Who in the Church is going to investigate the Pope, what he knew and when, and what He did about it?
