Not when what you are sharing is the same groundwork by which slain in the spirit and holy laughter happens by. Scripture refutes what you are sharing since no evil tree can produce a good fruit and no good tree can produce an evil fruit. It is ecumenical in nature as gathering grapes of thorns and figs of thistles as it is spoken and experienced in Pentecostals, Charismatics, and Catholics.

What I have shared cannot be proven, but the OP ask later on in this thread for experience which I had started off by saying I wasn't going to, but then I was prompted later on by the Lord to do it when I was given a key from my mother that said "Don't be afraid to share your story. It could be the key that unlocks someone else's prison." So with His help, I shared what I had shared, although I do not see how it could help the OP or any one else for that matter.

I am not preaching anything for any one to follow after other than Jesus Christ. That is the difference between you and me. You are putting the spotlight on the Spirit whereas scripture & the Holy Spirit in me would keep it on the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

And yes, I need His help to do that too.

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Read chapter 8, as paul tells us victory in our walk in Christ is dependent upon the Holy Spirit Himself!

The sameJjesus told us that we MUST have the Holy Spirit in order to have powerful witness, and to be able to live for Jesus as we should!

Jesus is the Christ, as in the Son of God is the Christ. Jesus defers from Himself when speaking of the Father by the pronoun "he" and "him" just as Jesus defers from Himself when speaking of the Holy Spirit by the pronoun "he" and "him".

So to avoid sounding like Oneness Pentecostalism, we cannot say that speaking of a continual need for the infilling of the Holy Spirit or seeking the Presence of the Holy Spirit in worship is the same thing as speaking of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not.

When we are choosing to sin, are we yielding to our flesh, or to the Holy Spirit? If ourselves, how are we still Spirit filled then at that time?

Oh, I don't doubt the events of the NT; that's a primary reason I became a believer and continue to be. It's just that sometimes in this life, I feel I need more than second-hand evidence.

Have you interacted with Him the way the apostles did, after His resurrection? He has not appeared to me like that.

We have the Holy Spirit residing in us, and He is the Spirit of Christ Himself, Correct?

By acknowledging that the foundation which was laid by Jesus Christ is the same thing as still Spirit-filled forever.

It is the works of the flesh on that foundation that needs repented of, to get it off that foundation, but the foundation remains just as the seal of adoption remains forever for why we are not to grieve the Holy Spirit

When God judges any believer in that day ( 1 Corinthians 3:13 & 1 Peter 4:17-19 ) when the Bridegroom comes ( Luke 13:24-30 ), any unrepentant work of the flesh on that foundation will get burned up, but that foundation remains; even when the believer incurs a physical death for defiling the temple of God, he is still saved as 1 Corinthians 3:15-17 says in spite of being left behind..

There is no percentage of being Spirit-filled; you are either abiding in Him or you are not. To depart from iniquity is how a believer returns to abiding in Him and walking in the light with the Father and the Son in fellowship.

Yes. But that is not what I am talking about.

I do understand your point, though.

That is hypocrisy and running against the truth in scripture.

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Can He be grieved if we were not always infilled by Him? That is why we are not to grieve Him because we are always Spirit-filled.

If you really believe that, then the Holy Spirit can't be grieved when He can just leave, but He can't which is why we are warned not to grieve Him.
