Elizabeth Warren Takes DNA Test

    Sen Elizabeth Warren has taken a DNA test. The results, according to the MSM, quoting a Stanford professor, shows she is Native American. The quote, “the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor.”

    But. Wait.

    There is a dearth of Cherokee DNA to compare Warren's results to, so researchers widened their pool of DNA to include Mexico, Peru, and Colombia to stand in for Native American.

    The test results show that she has a possibility of being, at most 1/64 native American Indian, and at the least, 1/1,024 native American Indian (or Mexican, or Peruvian, or Columbian...) Expressed as a percentage those numbers are 1.56% and 0.097%, respectively.

    So, this is the new standard for leftist proof. Elizabeth Warren has between a 0.097% and 1.56% chance of having Native American (or Mexican, or Peruvian, or Columbian) ancestory and that is described as "strong support" for believing her story.

    Let that soak in. Strong support = a 1.56% chance.

    I don't know the criteria for qualifying as a minority, but if your best odds are 1.56%, I'd say you're probably white in heritage, not native American Indian.

    This woman is as phony as a $3 bill. It's no surprise a lot of democrats love her.

    I am literally 1/8 Hispanic. You can't tell by just "looking.". Not that I would care or mind. I'm proud of that part of my heritage and how/why those people came to New Orleans in 1778.

    You could see the swarthiness in my grandfather and his son, my uncle. It was my grandfather's mother that was Hispanic.

    I said that to say this. I don't look Hispanic and I am not 1/2 Hispanic, so I don't call myself Hispanic. Not out of embarrassment because I am not embarrassed, but out of simplicity and because 7/8 just overrides 1/8.

    1/8 is 12.5%

    If 12.5% doesn't get you anywhere in claiming your ethnicity, then 1.56% certainly does not.

    The truth be told, we all have a mixed pedigree. But to call yourself by an ethnicity that only shows up in 1% of your genetic make-up is lying.

    Sen. Lindsey Graham announced today that he's going to have a DNA test to see how much Cherokee Indian he has in his background. He thinks he can beat Elizabeth Warren.

    Sen. Graham pretty much exudes, "I am a white man" vibe, so it will be interesting if he has a higher percentage of native American blood in his DNA.

    My grandfather on my moms side had a native Canadian mom and a right off the boat Irishman dad. I never met him due to him being a wife-beating drunk and my French-Canadian grandma left him. He died on somewhere in Canada in the ‘90s. That pedigree is shared, I imagine, by most of the folks who lived in upstate NewYork. Throw in a Scots father, I don’t know what my % would be. Really not interested in it like my dad is. I’m prouder of being an American than any of my many ethnic backgrounds.

    Augustus Hawkins, who was California's first black congressman and helped form the Congressional Black Caucus, has died. He was 100....Hawkins, a Democrat, represented south Los Angeles....Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Los Angeles, who holds Hawkins' former seat, said in a statement that he was 'the author of some of the most significant legislation ever passed in the House'."
