Judge Jeanine Pirro visits Liberty University. Thank God for Liberty. Good on Creation, good on Politics. Rare. Most "conservative" christian colleges have become liberal.

And where do you think schools like Maranatha Baptist University (Watertown, Wisc.), Bob Jones University, Faith Baptist BBC and Seminary (Ankeny, Iowa), International Baptist College and Seminary (Chandler, AZ) stand? Again I put this down to the SBC-centric mindset of the membership of Baptist Board.

What a wonderful message for the students to hear from the pulpit, especially the young ladies:

    Video - Liberty University

"I'm a Catholic. I'm a Christian. I believe in God and my whole life is a reflection of my faith and my belief in God. And that's what I want you to remember, no matter who you are and what you do, it is God who is the wind beneath your sails."

"I wanted to become a lawyer. And everyone said to me, "Well you're a woman. I mean you're just gonna have kids and you'll never go to work." Sounds foreign, I'm sure, to the women in this audience, but it's what I grew up with."

    As were 'Diamond' & 'Silk':

"Liberty University make some NOISE! We would like to say thank you to President Farwell..."

There is an effort in most conservative churches today to become very quiet on politics. I think it's a mistake. I get the reasoning. They don't want to confuse the Gospel with politics. The problem is, you can't separate the Gospel from testimony, and you can't separate testimony from morality, and you can't separate morality from politics. National policy is innately moral. Churches and Christian leaders need to speak up.

Past generations have understood this. This generation is wavering for some reason, excluding bright spots like Liberty.

They are probably as fundamental as Liberty, but due to their refusal to become politically active they have made themselves much less relevant.

Exactly. Which in turn encourages political leftist to rise to power in these institutions. I see it all over. So long as you check all the doctrinal boxes, you can be a pro-death pro-legal gay marriage leftist, and no one will question you because they want to keep politics out of it. I left a church a few years ago over this. One of the teaching elders believed christians should vote for gay marriage out of compassion. I was the only one who knew about his view through a private conversation. The other elders would have also be appalled, but didn't know because politics are generally not discussed. They wanted to remain apolitical.

I don't know specifically if those institutes above are apolitical, but would imagine some are.

I can see from the last two comments that the schools I mentioned aren't even being seen by you all's radio telescope. BJU not political?? The schools I mentioned are pro-life and define marriage as between a man and a woman. If they weren't I would not have brought them up. My point was Liberty is not a lonely only. The problem lies in the fact that save for BJU, the other schools are much smaller than Liberty so they don't get national coverage.

This is good to hear. God bless them, may they increase.

But in fairness, I added this to my comments.

Or perhaps none are. I hope so. It would be encouraging if that were the case.

You haven't been tracking the school of late. Though, it will take another generation for matters to settle out.

These young men have been interviewed by James R. White. It's rare to find reformed artists, and even rarer that they use rap.

I'm not a fan of rap, but their message cannot be denied. It's a breath of fresh air.

    God Bless

At least she wore something modest to Liberty.

On FOX TV her dresses are so short......
As is all the female hosts..... what a shame.

I think Liberty has confused conservatism with Christianity. (And I am a conservative BTW)
