Be specific. What about the beliefs of those groups that indicate the members are unsaved? Why not take them one at a time.

    That's a GREAT Idea, canadyjd.

Maybe, 'a list of False Gospels' could be compiled by everyone, since one or more of those False Gospels may be applicable to 'One Group' that we may categorize and "to the beliefs of those groups that indicate the members are unsaved?"

The determinative principal is "IF THAT IS WHAT THEY BELIEVE", right?

A False Gospel may also be shared among any number of 'Groups' we may 'categorize', too, of course.

I will touch upon several False Gospels that I find in most every 'Landmark, Jesus Built, I have 'a corner of THE TRUTH', Baptist with a Capitol 'B', 'Jesus is Walking Around in Here'- type, "I'm a terrible sinner and YOU ARE WORSE THEN I AM" Kind of church that Jesus Built.

I say that knowing that 'Baptist' churches sometimes lean 'negative' ( not that the Bible and Jesus Speaking don't) but just that, "I find something WRONG WITH THAT"* that 'Baptists' may do a lot, is what I would also be doing with regard to 'The Apple of God's Eye" and GOD'S MEN?

*A ridiculous example of "I find something WRONG WITH THAT" would be when my brother said 'we are going to Worship God' and I said, I find three things 'wrong with that' ( mocking the "I find something WRONG WITH THAT" tendency) I said, we are NOT IN A STATE of SINLESSNESS, we DON'T HAVE OUR GLORIFIED BODIES, and WE ARE NOT IN THE ENDLESS ENDURANCE of HEAVEN.

So, yeah. It is entirely possible to be 'fault finding' 'to a fault' or 'critical of other religions, etc., HOWEVER: "THE SUBJECT of SALVATION" ?? WHO is THAT IMPORTANT TO???

If "I am human being number zyx38h2", then "THE SUBJECT of SALVATION" is THAT IMPORTANT TO human being number zyx38h2", right?

    See that?

Like, "Hi, I am Scripturally Baptized into The Bride of Christ, but my Pastor and church body say that Jesus Christ Does Not Forgive me, because there was some 'divorce' somewhere involving me, or a married partner".

I mean do they or not? See? "Jesus DOES NOT FORGIVE SIN" IS ANOTHER GOSPEL.

Me, me, me, I, for myself personally, etc., I BELIEVE IT IS O.K. to SAY "JESUS IS THE SAVIOR" and MOST "TALK ABOUT JESUS" AROUND THE WORLD DOES NOT SAY, "JESUS IS THE SAVIOR", in my, my, my, personal opinion.

Thus, despite that Can of Worms, "SALVATION" is IMPORTANT to THE INDIVIDUAL SOUL, isn't it??? I'm shaky typing that.

Eternity. Our Long Home. Standing before The Judgment Seat of Christ. Shutting one's mouth and Bowing One's knee.

Then, the Eternal Prospect of "did I die without JESUS CHRIST"?

Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, and everything else ought to be saturated with The Gospel of Jesus Christ and if I'm Correct(?), The Job of Baptists is exactly that.

Now, if you would like, I will begin by adding the first 'False Gospel' that someone, or some 'group' associated with Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, Presbyterians, Salvation Army, or other folks may 'employ' that begins with a lost soul and ends WITH A LOST SOUL.

    1. Pray.

??????? Ahhhhh.....??????? Why don't you start with the Methodist Church. What Methodist doctrine, if believed by the membership, would indicate they are not saved?

I thought that was a Prudent suggestion, because if "Methodist doctrine, if believed by the membership, would indicate they are not saved" is going to include, "pray".

John 9:31, "Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth."

To find a Teaching in The Bible for a Methodist to "Pray", then, is up to someone else. I don't see it in there.

Then, "Pray" as an Accursed/ Another Gospel would never indicate someone WAS SAVED.

The testimony of, "I Prayed to God to Save me" is not The Bible Teaching of, "How to be Saved".

Then, with that being 1. False Gospel, I'll look into Methodist whatever and see what they accomplished as One More Organization Designed to DENY JESUS CHRIST.

O.K., I looked into Methodist whatever and see what they accomplished as One More Organization Designed to DENY JESUS CHRIST and that would be as follows and is a Perfectly Satanic "METHOD", by which a lost soul that begins as a lost soul is deceived by a FALSE GOSPEL and as Methodist doctrine, if believed by the membership, would indicate they are not saved, or in other words, still a lost soul.

Here's what they say ( I looked for some Bible reference but they must have edited them all out of their Religion website, and finding the word 'Jesus' took surfing through their site a while.

    Rough, Godless, Modus Operandi.

"In the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, “we are initiated into Christ’s holy church, … incorporated into God’s mighty acts of salvation and given new birth through water and the Spirit,” the Introduction to the Baptismal Covenant says. “All this is God’s gift, offered to us without price.”

"Director of worship resources with Discipleship Ministries of The United Methodist Church the Rev. Taylor Burton-Edwards explains, “Baptism is the ordinary means of rebirth and initiation into the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

    "Our need for salvation

"The Bible teaches that God made human beings in the image of God, and all of creation to be good. Sin caused a “distortion of the image of God in us and the degrading of the whole of creation,” By Water and the Spirit, The United Methodist Church’s official statement on baptism, reports.

"In baptism, we reject the power of sin and begin our journey as disciples of Jesus Christ."

Please explain how the Methodist doctrine of baptism, if believed by the membership, means they are unsaved.

They clearly state that Spirit baptism is required for new life. Perhaps they link that new birth by water and Spirit to closely to the water baptism for my comfort, but I wouldn't suppose I could look into their spirits and discern whether Holy Spirit indwells.

Perhaps God has gifted you with that ability.

Has God given you the ability to look into another person and discern whether Holy Spirit indwells or not? I think not.

We should all work out our salvation with fear and trembling. It should be enough for us to make our arguments on scripture without declaring millions of professing Christians to be unsaved because they believe everything I do.

The Bold type 'means' that the references copied and pasted from The article Renewing waters: How United Methodists understand baptism set the characteristics for the reply's font, just like this.

So, we have 3 False Gospels, by which Religious Organizations Serve Satan in Industrially Denying that Jesus is The Savior.

    1. Pray.

    2. Die ( since divorced individuals can't have a Savior that Forgives their sin until they are dead.)

    3. Wet.

In each case, a substitute is promoted in place of "Jesus is The Savior."

Lost souls who interact with these religious claims are lost souls still if they believe what they are taught.

P.S. There is no such thing as 'Spirit Baptist'.

Ephesians 4:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism",

re: "They clearly state that Spirit baptism is required for new life."

Their testimony is that a lost soul gets wet.

That lost soul is now wet.

They are the Infinite Victim of an Accursed 'gospel' that was it depended upon for the forgiveness of their sins is Eternally Fatal.

Ok, I really want to understand you. You see 4 false gospels if people are encouraged to (1) pray, (2) to die (to self), (3) to get baptised, and (4) to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

Are you saying that someone who believes these things are serving sat*n instead of serving Christ? It seems you are.

Thanks for the conversation. Peace to you.

I'm wondering if The Bible has any relevance to an Individuals "Hope" of "Salvation", from "sin".

Like, apart from the Flesh, as in the SNL world above, if anyone ever views anything having to do with anything involved with that effort, which I never do. Not one second. Why would I? Pure waste.

We could talk about why there is no such thing as 'The Holy Spirit' ever 'Baptising' anything. 'Spirit Baptism' is not a Spiritual Reality or Concept found in The Word of God.

But speaking of the 'wet' thing, with the words 'Spirit' and 'Flesh' mentioned, please allow me to quickly run through this passage and place a parenthesis of my words for clarity if you will.

This is quoted from The King James PURPLE Bible, which places The Three Persons of Divinity in Bold, which allows us also to see The Triune Godhead involved in the Prospect of Eternal Salvation.

    John 3:1 "There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, Rabbi, we know that Thou art a teacher come from God; for no man can do these miracles that Thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered, and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again (Spiritually Re-Generated, by The New Birth from Above), he cannot (Spiritually) see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? (Natural Childbirth)
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (Natural Childbirth, in the immediate context ( vs. 4) during which the 'breaking of water' takes place, in every case) and of the Spirit (Spiritually Re-Generated, by The New Birth from Above), he cannot (Spiritually) enter into the (Spiritually) kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh (Natural Childbirth) is flesh (Natural Childbirth); and that which is born of the Spirit (Spiritually Re-Generated, by The New Birth from Above) is spirit (A Spiritual Partaker of The Divine Nature).
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again (Spiritually Re-Generated, by The New Birth from Above).
8 The wind bloweth where it willeth* {listeth}, and thou hearest the sound of it {thereof}, but canst not tell from where {whence} it cometh, and where {whither} it goeth; so is every one that is born of the Spirit (Spiritually Re-Generated, by The New Birth from Above).
    9
Nicodemus answered, and said unto Him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a teacher {master} of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that (Spiritual Realm which is a Higher Reality than the Flesh) which we do know ( having only been born by the Natural Childbirth and Not Born of The Spirit Nature of God to be Enabled by The Holy Spirit of God to know of things in the Spiritual Realm which is a Higher Reality than the Flesh), and testify that which we have seen; and ye receive not our witness (John 5:40 "And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life", i.e., of his own Naturally Born ability).
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? (Spiritual Realm which is a Higher Reality than the Flesh)

*Psalm 110:3; "Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth."

    1. "Praying" in the flesh is flesh.

    2. "Dead" for a divorced individual, or their divorced partner to Save them from sin is flesh, Galour.

    3. "Wet" in the flesh is still flesh.

4a. "Work" of the flesh is flesh.

4b. "working" in the flesh is flesh. "6" is the number of "man". If "man's effort by works" is multiplied by 10, to make it a "60", man is still flesh and were a man to further be amplified by a factor of 10, that which is flesh is flesh. All man can produce is the identity of being "666", flesh, 100%.

"Are you saying that someone who believes these things are serving sat*n instead of serving Christ? It seems you are."

Of course. Why would I lie about the Eternal Spiritual Reality of Salvation through Jesus Christ, The Savior?

This is so stunning to me. I'm so glad this quest came up within this thread, 'somehow'. An impression I have of 'Evangelism' involves "The Importance of Future Hope" that is an article by Michael W. Goheen.

If 'Evangelism' will be undertaken by all of God's Children, ONCE THEY HAVE HOPE in JESUS RETURN, then, God Knows we, as God's Children need to Know HOW GOD SAVES SOULS, first!!

First, provided I 'see' Jesus as The Savior, if I then have what The Bible Calls, "The Greatest of these is Hope", THEN I WILL PREACH THE GOSPEL and TELL PEOPLE, "REPENT", "TURN or BURN", "BELIEVE THE GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST'S DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION"!

If I have Hope that Jesus Will Return to Finish The Work He Began, I will SHARE THE GOSPEL.

If I have Hope that there Will Be a Bodily Resurrection of the Dead to Life Again, I will PREACH THE GOSPEL.

If my Hope includes a Belief that all Human Beings Wil Stand before God in Final Judgment, I Will PREACH JESUS!!!

If my Hope includes a Belief that The Kingdom Will Finally COME in FULNESS, Jesus Christ's NAME WILL COME OUT of MY MOUTH!!

The reverse corollary would be if my 'Hope' were in some False Gospel of Pure Flesh WHERE I HAVE BEEN TOLD and PROMISED be expecting to hear the Words, "Come, you who are blessed by My Father; take your inheritence, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world' ( Matthew 25:34-35).

Our Hope Must Be Built on Nothing Less than Jesus Blood.....

    "You Must Be Born Again".

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

I will go with number 5 and then it needs to be taken to another thread.

    5. Premillennialism.

    6. Postmillennialism.

The view that Jesus will Return and wrestle around with an Apostate population and beg Jews to Come On and Get with The Eternal Plan of God land in the Pigeon Hole of "Novice", of The End Times Teaching Scripture, without exception.

Leaving Jews here on Earth to be lost, so Jesus can TRY to Talk them into being Worthy of Eternal Life is NOT THE MESSAGE FROM GOD.

Jesus is Returning, AS THE SAVIOR of those who Believe, to Hand The Kingdom to The Father, to Raise the dead FROM THE BOTTOM of THE SEA, Judge, Separate the Sheep from the Goats, welcome his Chosen Elect into Eternity in Heaven??, How about The New Heaven and New Earth?

Any mention of the word 'millennial' is nice if it is translated and then Apocalyptically Interpreted, as if we a Literate in the English language and not a novice, in all cases, without exception, to Bible Interpretation, specifically of The End Times.

Jesus IS NOT COMING BACK TO THIS EARTH TO PERSONALLY PREACH TO LOST PEOPLE, EVER, EVER, EVER.

The Lost will be Judged and Cast into an Eternal Lake of Fire.

That IS THE TESTIMONY of EVERY VERSE of SCRIPTURE.

NOTHING in The Bible Teaches that 'this world' will continue in ANY FASHION, other than what Jesus said it would. New.

    5. Premillennialism.

    6. Postmillennialism.

are False Gospels, without exception, in every case, ABSOLUTELY.

    I ask:

    "Do you ever 'Pray'?

"If so, do you ever ask 'God to Forgive you'?

    "Why would He?"

because I want to know from everyone I meet.

    Why would God Forgive sin?

    1. Because someone said, "Pray after me"?

    2. God DOES NOT FORGIVE THE SINS of SOULS ASSOCIATED with DIVORCED INDIVIDUALS UNTIL ONE OF THEM DIES?

    3. "MY 'SINS' WERE 'WASHED AWAY' BY SOME RELIGIOUS WATER, MAN"

    4. "I am working to be 'Faithful' and 'Obedience' so get out of my face.

    5. "The Millennium", is where I will Rule with Jesus, so you better act right or I'll knock you in the head, then.

    6. I'm going to be The Major, Ruling over MUCH, IN THE GREAT BIG O, FOR REAL THING, DUBBED "The Millennium", before or after whatever, because I have BEEN FAITHFUL over a few house rules of our 'church' that we instilled by the will, power, and authority of our finite, carnal, flesh.

    "Do you ever 'Pray'?

"If so, do you ever ask 'God to Forgive you'?

    "Why would He?"

    7. Denominations. This thread has shown testimony for nothing to be said of anyone in a Denomination because their Way of Salvation may be bonkers, but they could all be saved(?)

That would add Denominations to the list of False Gospels that an individual is persuaded to Truth, for the Salvation of their soul.

    8. Prenatal. A Prenally devolved human being becoming deceased is not God's Eternal Plan of Salvation.

    9. Abortion. An aborted child is not 'The Way, The Truth, and The Life.' It would be a False Gospel to say, "The child was aborted and is now in Heaven."

    10. Infancy. An infant child is not 'The Way, The Truth, and The Life.' It would be a False Gospel to say, "The child was deceased as an infant and is now in Heaven, or don't worry about Preaching The Gospel to that infant as they grow older, because we wetted them, or splattered or poured water on them, or froze them in ice, or claimed a "Covenant", instead of Jesus ever needing to Give them the New Birth, under the Preaching of the Gospel.

    11. Childhood. Childhood is not 'The Way, The Truth, and The Life.' It would be a False Gospel to say, "The child was deceased as a child and is now in Heaven, or don't worry about Preaching The Gospel to that child until they reach some age we deem marvelous to do so.

    12. Funeral. Ever been to a Funeral where the deceased was not 'in a better place(?) A Funeral is not The Way of Salvation and does not need to be treated as False Gospel/ Way of Salvation

    13. Obituary. Why do people see church membership as so heated a topic sometimes? So they can have that church membership listed in their Obituary so everyone doesn't think they automatically went to hell, as if their Obituary is 'The Way, The Truth, and The Life' / False Gospel in place of a Savior?

    There are plenty more.

Filling 'churches' with lost people deceived by any number of False Promises and False Gospels and SATANIC DECEPTION is not the Work of God, any more than,

"Do you want to go to Heaven; REPEAT AFTER ME...

    THEN, YOU CAN SING,
"IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL", WITH US!!

    14. REPEAT.
